She is taking care of her father’s doctor’s office”
Well, we are having Christmas dinner my place
“Ok” Carmen replied her head ducked to the smile, winking” I will tell her”
Carmen began to walk over to the table where the girls were sitting deep in conversation, about commitment and sex. Carmen shook her head, pursed her lips together and sat in to hear what they were saying.
Carmen and the girls continued the conversation about commitment as Carmen sat there eating her fruit and shaking her leg, rolling her eyes; she hated these conversations because they would all lead back to Shane some way or the other.
“So Carmen” Alice asked with a grin on her face with the slightest hit of wanting to know something that she shouldn’t.
“What is it Alice”
“How are you and Sloan?”
“Why you asked”
“Because I haven’t seen her in a couple of days”
Alice was right a couple of days did go by, Carmen hasn’t heard from her either
“She is in New York”
“Really”
“Yeah, she will be there for two weeks”
“Oh”
“What’s the oh for Alice”
“No reason, I just wanted to know”
CHAPTER XXXIV
Shane walked into the planet and spotted the girls with Carmen. Shane alone no Molly, Carmen thought. Why did Alice ask that question? “Wow, Shane looks so good” as she looked at Shane strut to the table.
Shane noticed Carmen, she looked so beautiful and stunning, Wow, that woman could turn a thousand heads, Shane thought
“Hey everyone”
“Hi, Shane how are you”, Bette said
“Carmen” Shane said low and husky which sent a chill through Carmen’s spine
“Shane, how are you” Carmen looked and smiled
“I have seen better days”
“So Shane how is everything”
“Well, I got good news and bad news”
Tina: what is it?
Alice: okay start with the bad
Shane: well, the good news first, I’m thinking of opening Wax II
Alice: that’s great Shane
Shane: but the only way I can do it is doing another ad for Hugo boss
Bette: wow, are you willing to do that again.

yay sharmen…glad they can’t stay away from each other but not glad that they both still have girlfriends…great chapter…PPS!
Surgtech, I’ve been silently following along with your wonderful story for the last few days. I don’t usually comment, but I felt compelled to due so after reading this ending, or better stated — cliffhanger. Please don’t leave this story this way. If this is complete and it really truly is the “end”, then at least give the readers a sequel. I’ve always wanted to see Shane and Carmen end up together, but not this way.I can certainly appreciate the way that you have portrayed both of their characters in your story. You’ve kept them true to form, yet I can’t help but believe that Shane is now ready to commit and sacrifice her outlandish unfaithful ways in order to be with Carmen – the true love of her life. Since much of your story followed some of the storyline from the show, I think that toward the end, Shane had matured. The old Shane would have never allowed Phyllis to drive her away from Molly, but she wanted to spare Molly. She put her own selfishness aside, and let Molly go.BR>If you feel inclined to do so — sequel that is… I would like to see/read her fight for Carmen — prove herself to Carmen – admit her undying love to Carmen and make things right with Mrs. Morales.Nevertheless, if this really is the “end” and you have no desire to write a sequel, then I just want to thank you for sharing your story and at lease giving us an ending with the two of them together — loose ends and all…Thx,
