CHAPTER XXXI
Saturday night at the hit club was always the usual. Sunset Blvd rocked the turn tables. Sloan was sitting at the bar drinking a cubre libre, rocking her head back and fourth. She notices Trisha with Papi.
Trisha: Sloan! Oh my god, what are you doing here?
Sloan flashed her smile, hugging Trisha
Sloan: I’m hanging out, what are you doing here?
Papi: what’s up Sloan?
Sloan: I see you two are a together.
Trisha: I know isn’t it crazy
Sloan: so how are things?
Trisha: there great
Papi: I can’t get enough of this girl, so who are you here with
Sloan pointing to Carmen who was on stage with Sunset “Her”
Papi: so she gave up Shane.
Sloan: let’s hope so. How do you know Carmen, Papi?
Papi: we went to school together. I was her first.
“Her first” Sloan raised her eyebrow.
Papi: yeah, her first ask her.
“You and Carmen” Sloan said giving a half a smile and nodding at the same time.
Papi was looking at the stage, “yeah me and Carmen” she said smiling.
Trisha: we’ll see you around, call me sometime we need to catch up.
Sloan raised her glass to the couple. “You got it”
Shane and Molly walked into the club. Shane to notice that Sunset was in the house, mixing it up and Carmen was up there too. She paused, looked and took a deep breath.
Molly: Shane; honey come on let’s get drinks. I want to have fun tonight. Shane nodded “Okay” she said and followed Molly to the bar.
Carmen came down from the stage, and while she was walking back to the bar she stopped mid track and saw Shane, the person Carmen was looking for all night. Even though she was with Molly, something inside Carmen wanted to see for her reassurance.. A nervous feeling took over her as she walked up to the bar were Shane and Sloan were, only sitting one bar stool away from each other. Carmen swallowed hard, straightens her blouse and walked to the bar, placing her hand on Sloan’s shoulder and a kiss on her cheek but looking in Shane’s direction. Sloan noticed and never said anything, she knew deep down inside Shane and Carmen were much deeper, that she and Carmen. The relationship that they shared will never ever equal the amount of love like Shane and Carmen, their colors ran deep, but Sloan just shrugged it off.

yay sharmen…glad they can’t stay away from each other but not glad that they both still have girlfriends…great chapter…PPS!
Surgtech, I’ve been silently following along with your wonderful story for the last few days. I don’t usually comment, but I felt compelled to due so after reading this ending, or better stated — cliffhanger. Please don’t leave this story this way. If this is complete and it really truly is the “end”, then at least give the readers a sequel. I’ve always wanted to see Shane and Carmen end up together, but not this way.I can certainly appreciate the way that you have portrayed both of their characters in your story. You’ve kept them true to form, yet I can’t help but believe that Shane is now ready to commit and sacrifice her outlandish unfaithful ways in order to be with Carmen – the true love of her life. Since much of your story followed some of the storyline from the show, I think that toward the end, Shane had matured. The old Shane would have never allowed Phyllis to drive her away from Molly, but she wanted to spare Molly. She put her own selfishness aside, and let Molly go.BR>If you feel inclined to do so — sequel that is… I would like to see/read her fight for Carmen — prove herself to Carmen – admit her undying love to Carmen and make things right with Mrs. Morales.Nevertheless, if this really is the “end” and you have no desire to write a sequel, then I just want to thank you for sharing your story and at lease giving us an ending with the two of them together — loose ends and all…Thx,
