    Friday

    Dr. Wilson came in and explained what was going to occur. She again told us that she felt that the tissue removal would remedy the problem but that of course she wouldn’t know until she actually was able to see. As she left, she told me to say goodbye as they would be there soon to move Tina. We both got teary as we hugged and kissed one another. As the orderly came in to take her, she whispered in my ear that I had better ask Dr. Wilson when we could resume our sexual activities because her hormones were kicking in and she was horny as hell. That brought the smile that everyone saw when I got back to the waiting room. Alice asked what I was smiling about but I wasn’t about to tell her with Tina’s parents sitting there. Hell, I was finally comfortable with them and that would set me back too far to probably recover from.

    Two hours later, Dr. Wilson approached us. I introduced her to everyone. She asked if she could speak in front of them and without hesitation, I told her yes. She went on to tell us all that it was as she suspected and that she cauterized some tissue. The procedure hadn’t taken long at all but a section was sent to pathology for them to look at and that took the longest amount of time. She wanted them to look to make sure it was nothing. Although the results were just preliminary, nothing was seen in the lab. They hooked Tina up to IV antibiotics and did an ultrasound. The babies looked good. She handed me a prescription for some more antibiotics. Tears that I didn’t know that I was holding in started to flood out and Catherine pulled me into her arms. I let it out. I thanked Dr. Wilson who told us Tina would be ready to go in less than an hour. As Dr. Wilson was walking away, I walked after her and got really close to her. I asked her the question that Tina wanted me to ask. Dr. Wilson had to hold her stomach she was laughing so hard. She assured me that it was a normal question. She suggested we wait at least a week. The antibiotics would help fight off infection but she would rather Tina be more post op before we resumed our normal habits. I don’t think I’ve been more embarrassed in my life but I thanked her again and walked back to the group.

I also noticed the baby ad & smiled at the coincidence….Well thank you to whoever issued the challenge & thank you for answering it…great update….glad that everything is ok w/ the babies & T…love seeing the whole family supporting our girls & wonderful to see them being open w/ each other about everything – including those raging hormones!! ;)

    4. Bette & Tina are having 2 bundles of joy! And you posted twice in one day! Double sources of happiness. WOW! The bleeding and the procedure were scary. It was so touching to see their whole family rally around them. I hope the worst is over and the rest of Tina’s pregnancy will be okay. But whatever happens, I think Bette & Tina’s relationship will emerge even stronger from this pregnancy. “I asked her the question that Tina wanted me to ask. Dr. Wilson had to hold her stomach she was laughing so hard.” => I LMAO too when I read this. Bette will have her hands full dealing with Tina’s double rush of hormones. Everything is falling into place for the Kennard-Porters. Even Shane, Alice and Kit have found their own loves. Thank you, thank you, NAG, for the lovely 2 chapters! Hope you and little G had a blast in the beach, sand and all. :>

    12. Thanks for posting 2 in one day! and Tina’s hormones are already raging, poor Bette isn’t gonna know what hits her and how on Earth are they ever going to make it a whole week?? They better arrange for someone to keep Angie that night, beacuse it’s going to be a long night!

    13. I tired to read this post when it first came out but knew that I would not have done it justice. I loved how much Bette and Tina have grown as a couple and hope that they will continue to grow. I know that life can throw a curve ball into the mixture, but at least they have each other and their family. Please keep Bette and Tina and of course the babies safe. Well, that also goes for the entire family.

    16. I’m so happy you posted again today I can never get enough of this story. Twins, gosh Tina will wear Bette out she won’t be able to stand up. Lol. This will be such fun to watch when Dr. Wilson gives them the green light. Such a wonderful story. Post when you can.
