    Friday

    Tina woke up not too long after and told me that she felt great. She was hungry and horny. I let her know what Dr. Wilson had said and she looked at me like I had lost my mind to think that she was going to wait that long. I had to finally use the baby card to convince her that we needed to wait. Damn, I was in for some fun if she continued to feel this way for the next 7 months or so.

    When she went in to use the bathroom, she saw the flowers. They were just beautiful. When she came back out, she picked up my phone since it was sitting there and called Helena to thank her. She put her on speaker phone so I too could thank her and we all had a nice conversation. Helena was coming back to town within the next week or so. She said that the whole Dusty thing had run its course and she wanted to come back home. Of course she had to remind us that she had no home at this time but that the money her mother had taken from her was returned as well as the money she had put away. She didn’t need to tell us that was the money that she had taken from Catherine. When the prosecutor realized that he didn’t have enough evidence, all charges had been dropped and the money was nowhere to be found. We offered the guest room but she told us that she would be staying in one of the Peabody places while looking for a house. It seemed that she had learned her lesson because the areas that she was looking at houses didn’t have McMansions. They were just regular houses and some, close to us. That would be great if she were close to all of us.

    Sam and Catherine returned with Angie. Kit came with food. Shane brought over Tina’s prescription and Alice, just came over. It was a mini gathering. Thankfully, Kit had brought enough food to feed an army. No one would let Tina lift a finger. I told them about having a barbeque on Sunday and made it a point to ensure that Alice and Shane knew that Tasha and Amy were invited. We ate and hung out. When I asked Sam how long they were staying, he told me that they really hadn’t thought about it yet but probably would leave next week if we were ok with them staying for a bit longer. Of course we were. It was great having them here.

    4. Bette & Tina are having 2 bundles of joy! And you posted twice in one day! Double sources of happiness. WOW! The bleeding and the procedure were scary. It was so touching to see their whole family rally around them. I hope the worst is over and the rest of Tina’s pregnancy will be okay. But whatever happens, I think Bette & Tina’s relationship will emerge even stronger from this pregnancy. “I asked her the question that Tina wanted me to ask. Dr. Wilson had to hold her stomach she was laughing so hard.” => I LMAO too when I read this. Bette will have her hands full dealing with Tina’s double rush of hormones. Everything is falling into place for the Kennard-Porters. Even Shane, Alice and Kit have found their own loves. Thank you, thank you, NAG, for the lovely 2 chapters! Hope you and little G had a blast in the beach, sand and all. :>

    13. I tired to read this post when it first came out but knew that I would not have done it justice. I loved how much Bette and Tina have grown as a couple and hope that they will continue to grow. I know that life can throw a curve ball into the mixture, but at least they have each other and their family. Please keep Bette and Tina and of course the babies safe. Well, that also goes for the entire family.

    16. I’m so happy you posted again today I can never get enough of this story. Twins, gosh Tina will wear Bette out she won’t be able to stand up. Lol. This will be such fun to watch when Dr. Wilson gives them the green light. Such a wonderful story. Post when you can.
