    Window of Opportunity ch. 68

I was asked, by Alice, what that was about but refused to say. Catherine must have known from the smile she gave me and I just stood there hoping to blend in with the furniture. I told them that they could leave but no one would until Tina was back out with us. She was wheeled out about 45 minutes later and looked really good. I could tell by her eyes that she was on drugs but her smile was beautiful and my stoned little woman was going to be ok so I was happy.

Kit promised to bring food by later. Sam and Catherine were headed to The Planet and would pick Angie up from daycare. Shane needed to head to work and surprisingly, so did Alice. Shane took the prescription from me and told me that she would take care of it. I tried to give her money but she shrugged it off. I thanked them all for being here for us and let them know how much it meant. I pulled the car around and Tina got in. She fell asleep before we even left the parking lot. When we got home, I hated having to wake her but she was actually really alert. I tried to put her to bed but she wanted to sit out by the pool. We both went in the bedroom and changed into more comfortable clothes and I grabbed the phone as we walked outside. We lay on the lounge chair and finally were able to talk about the possibilities. It was a great feeling.

Tina fell asleep after awhile and I extracted myself from her. I called James as I knew that he was probably going mad not knowing what was happening. He was. He sounded as relieved as I felt when I told him that everything was ok. I invited him over on Sunday for a barbeque which he readily accepted. We talked about what was happening and he forwarded to me those things that I needed to take care of. I went and got my laptop and did some work as Tina slept. I finally went inside to get something to drink and to have something ready for Tina if she needed it. While inside the doorbell rang. When I answered it, a delivery man stood with one of the biggest arrangements of flowers I had ever seen. I signed and took them inside. It was addressed to both of us. They were beautiful. They were from Helena letting us know that she was so happy with our news of the twins and that she was ecstatic that the procedure had gone well. Alice must not have wasted anytime telling her. I put them on the table so they would be the first thing that Tina saw.

    1. Wow! Two posts in one day. Who ever challenged you, tell them thanks! Great as always. You did have me concerned for a moment. Love that they are communicating and that Tina’s hormones are raging. Can’t wait to see how they control the urges ;)

    2. I also noticed the baby ad & smiled at the coincidence….Well thank you to whoever issued the challenge & thank you for answering it…great update….glad that everything is ok w/ the babies & T…love seeing the whole family supporting our girls & wonderful to see them being open w/ each other about everything – including those raging hormones!! ;)

    3. Bette & Tina are having 2 bundles of joy! And you posted twice in one day! Double sources of happiness. WOW! The bleeding and the procedure were scary. It was so touching to see their whole family rally around them. I hope the worst is over and the rest of Tina’s pregnancy will be okay. But whatever happens, I think Bette & Tina’s relationship will emerge even stronger from this pregnancy. “I asked her the question that Tina wanted me to ask. Dr. Wilson had to hold her stomach she was laughing so hard.” => I LMAO too when I read this. Bette will have her hands full dealing with Tina’s double rush of hormones. Everything is falling into place for the Kennard-Porters. Even Shane, Alice and Kit have found their own loves. Thank you, thank you, NAG, for the lovely 2 chapters! Hope you and little G had a blast in the beach, sand and all. :>

    10. I tired to read this post when it first came out but knew that I would not have done it justice. I loved how much Bette and Tina have grown as a couple and hope that they will continue to grow. I know that life can throw a curve ball into the mixture, but at least they have each other and their family. Please keep Bette and Tina and of course the babies safe. Well, that also goes for the entire family.

    11. I was scared at first but the chapter left me smiling… in fact, I’m still smiling. What can I say? This story just makes me happy. Thanks for the double posts, NAG. cheers!

    12. I’m so happy you posted again today I can never get enough of this story. Twins, gosh Tina will wear Bette out she won’t be able to stand up. Lol. This will be such fun to watch when Dr. Wilson gives them the green light. Such a wonderful story. Post when you can.
