Tina and Catherine finally came back in and I saw Tina had a calm about her that she hadn’t had before. She walked over to me, pulled me into a hug and told me that she loved me. I had no doubts about that. She asked if we could go to The Planet, to which I of course agreed and went in to get herself together. When she came back, we all piled in the car and headed out. Catherine and Sam were bombarded with hugs and they beamed. Alice introduced them to Tasha, who they had already heard about from Kit and they warmly welcomed her. We all ordered and sat around for hours. Sam took Angie into Kit’s office and put her down when she fell asleep. Sam was able when he got back to do a little payback by telling Amy and Tasha about their women who couldn’t fish or hunt. We all laughed at his description of his time with them.
The rest of the week went by. Sam had gotten some contractors to the house and two of them were ones that he liked so they were going to present their ideas the following week. Angie was basking in them being there and they spent quality time with her in the pool or taking her to the park. It was hard to concentrate on work but James really picked up the slack for me. Sam and Catherine insisted that Tina and I go out for walks in the evenings and on Thursday they insisted we go to dinner. We had a great time and avoided talking about Friday. After dinner we went for ice cream. Tina had made me a believer. We got some to go for Sam and Catherine.
Friday came and we left early for the outpatient surgery center. Sam and Catherine were going to drop Angie off at daycare and join us. We had insisted to the girls that we would call as soon as we knew anything but when we walked in, Kit, Shane and Alice sat. How could we have ever gotten so lucky? They told us that there was nowhere else that they were supposed to be when we were here. They needed to be here. I hadn’t realized that I needed them to be here also. I wanted to be strong for Tina but the wait was going to kill me and to have them here with me would make it a little easier. Sam and Catherine arrived just as they were taking Tina back to a room. Hugs were given by all and I was allowed to go back with her while they prepped her.

Wow! Two posts in one day. Who ever challenged you, tell them thanks! Great as always. You did have me concerned for a moment. Love that they are communicating and that Tina’s hormones are raging. Can’t wait to see how they control the urges ;)

I also noticed the baby ad & smiled at the coincidence….Well thank you to whoever issued the challenge & thank you for answering it…great update….glad that everything is ok w/ the babies & T…love seeing the whole family supporting our girls & wonderful to see them being open w/ each other about everything – including those raging hormones!! ;)
Bette & Tina are having 2 bundles of joy! And you posted twice in one day! Double sources of happiness. WOW! The bleeding and the procedure were scary. It was so touching to see their whole family rally around them. I hope the worst is over and the rest of Tina’s pregnancy will be okay. But whatever happens, I think Bette & Tina’s relationship will emerge even stronger from this pregnancy. “I asked her the question that Tina wanted me to ask. Dr. Wilson had to hold her stomach she was laughing so hard.” => I LMAO too when I read this. Bette will have her hands full dealing with Tina’s double rush of hormones. Everything is falling into place for the Kennard-Porters. Even Shane, Alice and Kit have found their own loves. Thank you, thank you, NAG, for the lovely 2 chapters! Hope you and little G had a blast in the beach, sand and all. :>
all caught up… love this story and i am so glad they called mom and dad… kit was so right, they would have felt terrible if any thing happened and they were hours away… and tina being horny… well bette will be up to the task… i have faith… thanks for 2 posts… PPS

Thanks for posting 2 in one day! and Tina’s hormones are already raging, poor Bette isn’t gonna know what hits her and how on Earth are they ever going to make it a whole week?? They better arrange for someone to keep Angie that night, beacuse it’s going to be a long night!
I tired to read this post when it first came out but knew that I would not have done it justice. I loved how much Bette and Tina have grown as a couple and hope that they will continue to grow. I know that life can throw a curve ball into the mixture, but at least they have each other and their family. Please keep Bette and Tina and of course the babies safe. Well, that also goes for the entire family.
I was scared at first but the chapter left me smiling… in fact, I’m still smiling. What can I say? This story just makes me happy. Thanks for the double posts, NAG. cheers!

I’m so happy you posted again today I can never get enough of this story. Twins, gosh Tina will wear Bette out she won’t be able to stand up. Lol. This will be such fun to watch when Dr. Wilson gives them the green light. Such a wonderful story. Post when you can.
