“Hey Tina. Is something wrong?”
“Hey Daddy. Bette’s here too.”
“Hi Sam. Hi Catherine. We’re sorry to be calling you so late but we needed to talk to both of you.”
“Hi Bette. It’s not too late. Catherine and I weren’t sleeping. Tell us what’s going on.”
I went on to tell them about wanting to be pregnant at the wedding and how in NY, Bette had arranged for Marcus’ sperm to be flown out. I told them how we hadn’t thought we were pregnant and about going to Dr. Wilson’s today. I told them about the bleeding and both of them got deathly quiet. When I told them that we were pregnant with twins, Mom started crying. I then had to tell them about Friday. Daddy started crying then. Before I could catch my breath, Mom told us that they would be on a flight as soon as they could book one. I didn’t think that I could love them any more than I did until she spoke those words. I fell into Bette’s arms crying. I needed her so much but I needed my mom too. I wanted my mom and hadn’t realized how much I wanted her until she offered to come out. We spoke for a few more minutes and Bette told them to let us know about the flight and that someone would be there to get them. She told them that they would be staying with us when they said something about a hotel. Hell, they had enough pseudo kids that there was no need for a hotel for them. We hung up with them saying that they would be on the internet immediately finding a flight.
I went into the bathroom to wash my face and Bette was sitting waiting for me when I returned.
“T, I’m glad you told them. They really have come such a long way haven’t they?”
“They have Babe. This may be nothing but I really could use my mom right now. I love you and want to share it all with you but …” she interrupted me before I could finish.
“Hey T, I understand. Hell, if it was me, I would want your mom here. Let’s go out there and enjoy our friends and enjoy our news. We want to be able to look back on this time as a good thing.” She was right. This was great news and our celebration should be just that.

Wow! Two posts in one day. Who ever challenged you, tell them thanks! Great as always. You did have me concerned for a moment. Love that they are communicating and that Tina’s hormones are raging. Can’t wait to see how they control the urges ;)

I also noticed the baby ad & smiled at the coincidence….Well thank you to whoever issued the challenge & thank you for answering it…great update….glad that everything is ok w/ the babies & T…love seeing the whole family supporting our girls & wonderful to see them being open w/ each other about everything – including those raging hormones!! ;)
Bette & Tina are having 2 bundles of joy! And you posted twice in one day! Double sources of happiness. WOW! The bleeding and the procedure were scary. It was so touching to see their whole family rally around them. I hope the worst is over and the rest of Tina’s pregnancy will be okay. But whatever happens, I think Bette & Tina’s relationship will emerge even stronger from this pregnancy. “I asked her the question that Tina wanted me to ask. Dr. Wilson had to hold her stomach she was laughing so hard.” => I LMAO too when I read this. Bette will have her hands full dealing with Tina’s double rush of hormones. Everything is falling into place for the Kennard-Porters. Even Shane, Alice and Kit have found their own loves. Thank you, thank you, NAG, for the lovely 2 chapters! Hope you and little G had a blast in the beach, sand and all. :>
all caught up… love this story and i am so glad they called mom and dad… kit was so right, they would have felt terrible if any thing happened and they were hours away… and tina being horny… well bette will be up to the task… i have faith… thanks for 2 posts… PPS

Thanks for posting 2 in one day! and Tina’s hormones are already raging, poor Bette isn’t gonna know what hits her and how on Earth are they ever going to make it a whole week?? They better arrange for someone to keep Angie that night, beacuse it’s going to be a long night!
I tired to read this post when it first came out but knew that I would not have done it justice. I loved how much Bette and Tina have grown as a couple and hope that they will continue to grow. I know that life can throw a curve ball into the mixture, but at least they have each other and their family. Please keep Bette and Tina and of course the babies safe. Well, that also goes for the entire family.
I was scared at first but the chapter left me smiling… in fact, I’m still smiling. What can I say? This story just makes me happy. Thanks for the double posts, NAG. cheers!

I’m so happy you posted again today I can never get enough of this story. Twins, gosh Tina will wear Bette out she won’t be able to stand up. Lol. This will be such fun to watch when Dr. Wilson gives them the green light. Such a wonderful story. Post when you can.
