Kit was the first to say anything. “What did Dr. Wilson say about it? What is she thinking is causing the bleeding?” Her pain was palpable.
“She thinks it is probably caused by some tissue that needs to be removed but she won’t know until she takes a closer look. She feels confident that the babies are ok but both of us have fears because of the past. When I go in on Friday, hopefully she will be able to give us some answers.”
Shane was on the verge of tears. She loved us so much and our fears were her fears. “I’ll keep Angie for you for however long you need. Just take care of yourself and the babies.”
I got up and hugged her. I think that prompted Bette back to the moment. “Guys, this is good news. We are scared but we’re going to keep good thoughts until Dr. Wilson tells us differently. We’re having twins. Two more Angie’s to love. I can’t believe you have nothing to say Alice.”
She grinned. “Damn, you knocked up your woman before your wedding and with twins. You’re good Porter.” And with that, the hugs started flying and laughter returned to our world.
“Guys, I need advice. I can’t decide whether to tell Mom and Daddy before the procedure on Friday or to wait. Mom will probably be on the first flight out and it may be for nothing. What do you all think?”
“I think you need to tell them Baby Girl. Your mom would be crushed if something happened to those babies and she didn’t know. She hates that she wasn’t there for you with your little boy.”
I knew Kit was right. Mom would be destroyed to know that I needed her and I didn’t let her know. Bette and I looked at each other and with those unspoken words, we excused ourselves and went inside. I grabbed my phone from the charger and dialed them. It was late there but I didn’t want to wait until morning.
“Hello.”
“Hey Mom, it’s me and Bette. Sorry that we’re calling so late. Is Daddy still up?”
“Yes sweetie he is. Is something wrong?”
“Can you ask him to pick up the other phone?” I heard her calling to him and within seconds he was on the phone.

Wow! Two posts in one day. Who ever challenged you, tell them thanks! Great as always. You did have me concerned for a moment. Love that they are communicating and that Tina’s hormones are raging. Can’t wait to see how they control the urges ;)
2 in one day! Thank you. Weird – is it coincidence that there is a Johnson’s “make baby sleep through the night” ad on page 1?
I also noticed the baby ad & smiled at the coincidence….Well thank you to whoever issued the challenge & thank you for answering it…great update….glad that everything is ok w/ the babies & T…love seeing the whole family supporting our girls & wonderful to see them being open w/ each other about everything – including those raging hormones!! ;)
Bette & Tina are having 2 bundles of joy! And you posted twice in one day! Double sources of happiness. WOW! The bleeding and the procedure were scary. It was so touching to see their whole family rally around them. I hope the worst is over and the rest of Tina’s pregnancy will be okay. But whatever happens, I think Bette & Tina’s relationship will emerge even stronger from this pregnancy. “I asked her the question that Tina wanted me to ask. Dr. Wilson had to hold her stomach she was laughing so hard.” => I LMAO too when I read this. Bette will have her hands full dealing with Tina’s double rush of hormones. Everything is falling into place for the Kennard-Porters. Even Shane, Alice and Kit have found their own loves. Thank you, thank you, NAG, for the lovely 2 chapters! Hope you and little G had a blast in the beach, sand and all. :>
all caught up… love this story and i am so glad they called mom and dad… kit was so right, they would have felt terrible if any thing happened and they were hours away… and tina being horny… well bette will be up to the task… i have faith… thanks for 2 posts… PPS

Thanks for posting 2 in one day! and Tina’s hormones are already raging, poor Bette isn’t gonna know what hits her and how on Earth are they ever going to make it a whole week?? They better arrange for someone to keep Angie that night, beacuse it’s going to be a long night!
I tired to read this post when it first came out but knew that I would not have done it justice. I loved how much Bette and Tina have grown as a couple and hope that they will continue to grow. I know that life can throw a curve ball into the mixture, but at least they have each other and their family. Please keep Bette and Tina and of course the babies safe. Well, that also goes for the entire family.
I was scared at first but the chapter left me smiling… in fact, I’m still smiling. What can I say? This story just makes me happy. Thanks for the double posts, NAG. cheers!

I’m so happy you posted again today I can never get enough of this story. Twins, gosh Tina will wear Bette out she won’t be able to stand up. Lol. This will be such fun to watch when Dr. Wilson gives them the green light. Such a wonderful story. Post when you can.
