    Kristen’s in the hospital… Bobby’s dicussion with Marco… Roxy’s Hell… The parents hear of Dana’s engagement

    Marco – Unless you’re willing to be next in command…. We have nothing to talk about.

    Bobby – I am not wanting to discuss this here.

    Marco – You don’t have much time, because I’m not staying that long. I have my life to resume.

    Bobby – How long are you going to be here?

    Marco – I don’t know, but I’m sure one of your "most trusted" will be following me again.

    Bobby – I’ll see you at the house later?

    Marco – I have a place to stay already. I’ll be at my dearly deceased cousin’s place. At least, you chose a family member to step into your shoes, even though it wasn’t any of your sons. I guess we couldn’t measure up to Tony. He’s kind of the carbon copy of you. You loved how he idolized you. I’m sure the mistakes he made were the reason why he’s dead now.

    Bobby – I understand why you’re so upset with me….

    Marco – You don’t know anything about me. You never wanted to.

    Bobby – You’re so wrong, Marco… you’re so fucking wrong… but you’ll find out that soon. Please go and get some rest. You look tired…. like you’ve been up all night.

    Marco – I’ll be fine.

    Bobby – Stop by the house tomorrow. It would mean the world to your mother… and to the rest of the family. In spite of our differences, we are bound by blood… nothing will ever change that…..

    When Sharon got home, she put her purse on the entryway table and walked toward the stairs. The thought of a hot shower sounded like heaven, especially since she needed to loosen up all the knotted muscles in her body. Maybe she needed to start taking that yoga class again, to focus her energy to something positive. Voices were coming from the living room, which made her heart sink. She really didn’t want company, but there was no way to avoid it. Sharon was after all, the perfect hostess. Appearances meant everything.

    She was disappointed to see that she was left out of the loop. Sharon couldn’t stand to be caught off guard or being surprised. The guests that were waiting in her living room was none other than Dana and Alice. Apparently, they had brought dinner with them. Her husband was handing them plates when she walked in.

    1. Holy moly!! Welcome back, brteyes!! I am sorry to hear what a rough year you had and hope that your father continues to improve. As to the chapter… It doesn’t seem like the time off has caused you to lose any of your skills. I like that you were able to provide an update that kept the story moving with just enough info so I didn’t have to go back and re-read. Love the additional info on Sharon. I have to wonder if there is more to her objections to the marriage. Poor Roxy. Yes, I said it. I don’t know how you come back from an experience like she is going through. Marco is shaping up to be a fascinating character. Loved more background on Roxy and Erika. Thank you for continuing the story even though the last line of the chapter makes me feel a bit queasy. Oh! And congrats to you and Danalicious. ;-D

    2. Well hello stranger, I was wondering if and when we would see you again :) May I say it’s lovely to have you back. I was more than a little excited when I saw an update to the story so I went back and read what I’ve missed! Im sorry to hear about you’re father and I really hope he continues to improve. I always think it’s lovely that you and Danalicious are together I really do :)Again Im so glad you’re back! I read the 3 chapters I need to catch up on and I have to say that the wait was worth it, I enjoyed every second of reading them. I have to say I am really intrigued by Marco and have a good feeling about him, am I right to or not? lol. I love the little bit of background your giving us with Roxy and Erika as well. Totally not suprised by Sharon’s reaction although Im dying to know what this secret is of hers!! Can I also say I don’t like the sound of the last line in this chapter, I take it David’s more than evil ways are going to come back into action with poor Alice and Dana soon enough … Ohhh!! Haha. Can’t wait to see another update when you’re able to give us one :D x
