Erika – Hey, I really don’t want to fight with you. I just think we need to find some common ground so that we can understand each other better. Basically, we are stuck together, but it doesn’t have to be a bad thing…. if we can work as a team. There are things that I could learn from you, just like there are things you could learn from me.
Roxy – What exactly could you learn from me?
Erika – You’re so much better at the technical exercises. And I think your street smarts are an asset, but they might also get you in trouble.
Roxy – I think you’re just saying that because of how I sabotaged your gun.
Erika – At least you admitted it.
Roxy – Kinda hard to lie when you’re caught red-handed. By the way, if you ever reach into my pockets again, I’ll break your fingers.
Erika – And if you ever fuck with me again, I’ll make you live to regret it.
Roxy – What would you possibly do to me that would make me regret anything.
Erika – Trust me, you don’t want to find out.
Roxy – Maybe I want to see what you have.
Erika – I would rather that we both concentrate on passing this class. I know that I can help you with the written part of the exams.
Roxy – I do okay.
Erika – If you want to be at the top 5% of the class then you need my help.
Erika knew that she could easily pass all aspects of the class but she could tell that Roxy was lacking confidence….. which is why she added her strong points. No one was going to drag her down inspite of the unfair circumstances. This woman was too much of a loose cannon. It was so important to get to know her better… if that was possible.

By all rights, Roxy should be dead and in a sense she was. The only reason she was clinging to life was because of the voice that was still demanding her attention. It’s the only thing that gave her comfort in a world that didn’t give a damn about her. Life had always been hard and she wondered why she was constantly tried. What had she done… especially back when she was an innocent… back before Dirk had taken her life from her.

Well now you are just spoiling us, brteyes!! Not that I mind… Another superb update. I am glad that Roxy is alive-ish. Very curious to see if she survives getting back to civilization and how much of her (mentally and physically) is still in tact. And what is up with Sharon and that house? Looking forward to some answers there eventually. I am glad Dana has Irwin on her side. Marco/Kristen? That is a Grand Canyon sized wrinkle in the story. It will be interesting to see what happens when Bobby shows up. Dana/Alice? Very hot. And very scary. I know David is waiting in the wings somewhere for his moment to strike. Can you tell I am anxious to see more of this wonderful story? ;-D Thanks so much brteyes!!
