    Kristen’s in the hospital… Bobby’s dicussion with Marco… Roxy’s Hell… The parents hear of Dana’s engagement

     It was hard to leave Alice and Dana alone. David had been enjoying every aspect of this mission, but right now he was growing a little bored. The only person he was being entertained by was Roxy. She was a little too messed up to enjoy the full effects of the torture. Not that she was suffering, but it wasn’t going to be anything compared to what was coming in the months ahead. At this moment, she was still wandering around in the desert. She would eventually find her way out. Roxy wasn’t meant to die there… no, not there. There were many plans that needed to be carried out before her death.

    It was so damn handy to have this chip inserted into her back. All he needed was his computer to track her every move. The woman was just circling and not making any progress toward the highway. David knew that she would try to follow the tracks coming in so he made many. Some had disappeared from the wind and also by dragging fencing behind his vehicle to cover the real tracks. She was already heading back to the trailer. She was going to be so disheartened when she found herself back at the beginning. The bitch was really stupid but she would be rewarded for her efforts.

    He had a little surprise for her when she got back to the trailer. Maybe she wouldn’t want to leave when the alternative would be possible death in the desert. She needed to be gone a while longer so she’d be willing to do what he needed her to do. When she returned, this would be the beginning of the end to Dana and Alice’s happy ever after. There would be so many changes and not for the better when it came to Alice and Roxy.

    Kristen was in surgery for hours. The trauma of her head bouncing on the sidewalk had caused hemorrhaging to the brain. They needed to relieve the pressure or she didn’t stand a chance of surviving. The surgeon took notice of the previous scars and wondered what injuries she had from before. He could tell that she was lucky to have lived through whatever happened and was wondering if she’d be so lucky to live through this. A body could only take so much and this woman looked so hopelessly weak.

    1. Holy moly!! Welcome back, brteyes!! I am sorry to hear what a rough year you had and hope that your father continues to improve. As to the chapter… It doesn’t seem like the time off has caused you to lose any of your skills. I like that you were able to provide an update that kept the story moving with just enough info so I didn’t have to go back and re-read. Love the additional info on Sharon. I have to wonder if there is more to her objections to the marriage. Poor Roxy. Yes, I said it. I don’t know how you come back from an experience like she is going through. Marco is shaping up to be a fascinating character. Loved more background on Roxy and Erika. Thank you for continuing the story even though the last line of the chapter makes me feel a bit queasy. Oh! And congrats to you and Danalicious. ;-D

I was more than a little excited when I saw an update to the story so I went back and read what I’ve missed! Im sorry to hear about you’re father and I really hope he continues to improve. I always think it’s lovely that you and Danalicious are together I really do :)Again Im so glad you’re back! I read the 3 chapters I need to catch up on and I have to say that the wait was worth it, I enjoyed every second of reading them. I have to say I am really intrigued by Marco and have a good feeling about him, am I right to or not? lol. I love the little bit of background your giving us with Roxy and Erika as well. Totally not suprised by Sharon’s reaction although Im dying to know what this secret is of hers!! Can I also say I don’t like the sound of the last line in this chapter, I take it David’s more than evil ways are going to come back into action with poor Alice and Dana soon enough … Ohhh!! Haha. Can’t wait to see another update when you’re able to give us one :D x
