    Is this the end of Candyass? And what lies ahead for our girls, Bette & Tina? Will HellNO and Susan win?

     

    Tina lifted Bette’s face to hers.

     

    “Bette, baby, this was not that. ‘That’ is our past that we have dealt with.  Yes, the ***** was connected to our past, and that’s exactly where I wanted to slap her to, to the past and the ***** out of our present or our future.”

     

    Bette couldn’t help but smile.

     

    “T?”

     

    “Yes, babe.”

     

    “You slapped the ***** out of her real good.”

     

    “Why thank you, sweetie.”

     

    “Now, can you tell me how this came about and what Susan was doing here?”

     

    “Well, let me go and get Angelica.  She’s at Shane’s.  When I come back I’ll tell you everything.”

    Susan followed Candace to her truck.  She wanted to see firsthand that she got in and drove off.

     

    “Candace, follow my suggestion, leave this town.”

     

    “***** you, you lyin’ *****.”

     

    “Well, for one, in your dreams you’ll ***** me; and two, I know who my parents are, but if it makes you feel any better, call me anything you want.  But get your ***** loser ***** out of this town, or the next time – if you’d be stupid enough to even consider a next time – you may not be able to get up to walk to your truck.”

     

    “What, you’re threatening me now?” The words were a bit garbled as Candace’s face was swollen and she was having a hard time talking.

     

    “No, Candace, I’m not threatening you at all.  I’m stating a fact.  And if you want to test whether or not that fact is true, stick around.  Get the ***** out of here. NOW.“

     

    Candace started her old truck, slammed the accelerator to the floor and took off.  To everyone’s knowledge, that was the last time anyone saw or heard from Candace Jewel.  She apparently found some sense in her overly thick head.

    Susan stood in the street and watched Candace’s truck speed off.  When her truck disappeared around a corner, Susan went to her truck, got in and just sat for a few moments behind the wheel.

     

    Mission accomplished, Susan.  I am now the only ‘employee’ of Helena Peabody.  I really, really like you, Bette and Tina, but I have to apologize – the drama in your lives is not over yet.

     

     

    And what Susan didn’t see or in no way was aware of, was another set of eyes standing behind a car a short distance away.a pair of eyes that had become all too familiar with the characters in this dramatic play

    1. RC…that was a great chapter. Tina slapping Candance..I thought she was going to slug her. LOL. Bette standing in the spot designated to her by Tina was funny and cute. Susan may have save Tina & Bette from Candance, but will she save them from Helena? I’m hoping she does for her and Dawn’s sake. For some reason…those eyes watching Susan are probably from Detective Al. LOL. She’s get to the bottom of this conspiracy. RC..thanks for the update. Loved it. So much action and drama.

    14. Susan tthe friend and protector of B&T, I DON’T think so. Now why would Candace not immediately so straight to Helena (swollen face and all) and report the her how Susan has double crossed her before she left town. I mean I would think that she add least want to walk away from this with something (Lets call it by it proper name REVENGE on Susan.), and I really think that B&T could have handled Candace themselves. I just take Tina to be someone who likes handling person things herself or at least within her circle of family, which Susan is not yet a member. Let’s hope that was Helena watching, please post again soon– really good stuff.

    15. Ahhh the cycle never ends! As soon as one villain is sent away another enigmatic figure is lurking in the shadows. I’m glad Tina was able to give Candace her just desserts. Hopefully they won’t be too eager to trust Susan. Thanks, rc!
