“Time to face the music, *****. And the song was written by Tina Kennard.” Susan said in a low but emphatic tone. Candace was squirming but there was no way she was getting out of Susan’s strong grip.
Bette started to walk over to Tina.
“T, I had no idea, baby”
“Bette, just stay over there. I know you didn’t know anything about this.”
“This is something I’ve wanted to do for a very long time now.”
Bette had never seen Tina’s face or stance like this before. This was the look of a mighty Hurricane, category 10, as it was about to crash and destroy all before it.
“Candace, as I just said, I’ve wanted to do this for a long time.” Tina drew her arm back as if she was going to pitch the last strikeout in the game. As her arm came forward her flat hand slapped Candace across the face so hard she actually fell back on Susan causing her to step back and dig her feet in so they both wouldn’t fall down.
The hand impression bruises began showing on Candace’s face within seconds.
Tina then walked up to within inches of Candace’s face.
“To repeat what you said when you had your filthy hands on my wife, Feel good? Feels real good to me”
Candace was seething, but she knew enough to keep her mouth shut.
“Read my lips, *****. If you ever come near Bette or my family again, I promise you, you will need someone to help put your sorry ***** on a stretcher and carry you to get immediate medical attention. I am really pissed, carpenter, so don’t ***** test me.”
Susan looked at Tina. “You finished with her, Tina?”
“Yes, I’m finished.”
Susan then spun Candace around to face her, her hands still holding her firmly.
“You are such a dumb mother-*****, Candace. I just have to put my two cents in for Bette and Tina.”
And with that, Susan drew back her left arm and cold-cocked Candace on the other side of her face. Candace went flying back into one of the chairs, knocking it over and landing on her back.

RC…that was a great chapter. Tina slapping Candance..I thought she was going to slug her. LOL. Bette standing in the spot designated to her by Tina was funny and cute. Susan may have save Tina & Bette from Candance, but will she save them from Helena? I’m hoping she does for her and Dawn’s sake. For some reason…those eyes watching Susan are probably from Detective Al. LOL. She’s get to the bottom of this conspiracy. RC..thanks for the update. Loved it. So much action and drama.

Susan tthe friend and protector of B&T, I DON’T think so. Now why would Candace not immediately so straight to Helena (swollen face and all) and report the her how Susan has double crossed her before she left town. I mean I would think that she add least want to walk away from this with something (Lets call it by it proper name REVENGE on Susan.), and I really think that B&T could have handled Candace themselves. I just take Tina to be someone who likes handling person things herself or at least within her circle of family, which Susan is not yet a member. Let’s hope that was Helena watching, please post again soon– really good stuff.
Ahhh the cycle never ends! As soon as one villain is sent away another enigmatic figure is lurking in the shadows. I’m glad Tina was able to give Candace her just desserts. Hopefully they won’t be too eager to trust Susan. Thanks, rc!
