Alice – I’ll go call and see if there is room on my flight, is that gonna be ok , do you have time to pack?

Dana – not a problem, I’ll just borrow some of your stuff if I forget anything.

And that was that, Alice had been brave and done something she never thought she would have the nerve to do.  Dana had to admit she was slightly taken aback by Alice.  Dana had to be realistic though it didn’t mean Alice wanted her back and was going to come rushing back into her arms, it meant Alice wanted company. Anyway she was looking forward to going to London, there was so much she didn’t have time to see last time she was there.

Their friends were amazed when they told them that Dana was going to London too.  Shane smiled the biggest smile ever and winked at Dana. Dana was hoping Alice didn’t see her do it and blushed a little.

The next day both women were up early and off to the airport.  Alice was quiet for most of the trip, she was missing Jake already.  Their flight finally touched down at Heathrow and the women made their way to alices home.

The taxi pulled off the main road and turned left into a road of town housed, the pavements (sidewalk) and gardens decorated beautifully by the trees and flowers.  They stopped outside number 97.  Alice and Dana got out of the taxi and grabbed their bags. They made their way up the steps where there were 2 front doors next to eachother. Just as Alice was putting her key in her front door the other door opened.

Woman – Alice, it is you my Alfie was looking out of the window and he said it was you, how are you my dear, where’s jakey

Alice – oh hello Mrs. M, Jake is in LA with Will, im just her for a week or two its really good to see you, this is my friend Dana

Dana – hello nice to meet you

Mrs. Murray – hello dear, well I’ll leave you in peace dear, nice to have you home, not been the same here without you and Jake. Oh and I’ll get my David to pop some shopping round in a sec love, you cant have anything in your cupboards.
