Alice – I know you do, so if you had a choice of where you could live, where would it be, here or back in London
You could see the concentration on his little face. All the women watched him knowing in their hearts what they wanted him to say, he paused and thought for a moment longer and looked at his mum and said
Jake – I don’t really care mum as long as I’m with you
Alice me too sweetie
The table of women smiled, Dana couldn’t believe what she was hearing, was Alice really going to go back to London
Dana – when do you have to say yes or no to the job Alice
Alice – he didn’t say, he wants me to go back to London for a week or so and take a look around and get a feel for the job before I make a decision.
Dana – are you going?
Alice – yes, I’ve got to at least check it out, and besides it will be good to get home, check on the apartment and stuff.
Dana – so when are you leaving
Alice – some time next week
Dana was at a complete loss for words, “what if Al never comes back” “how can I make her see that it can work again between us”. Alice stared at Danas face trying to read her thoughts, she could see that Dana was hurting, but the honest truth was Alice really didn’t have a clue what to do.
Chapter 15
It had been a fairly quiet week for Alice, she was placing all her attention on her son, she hadn’t seen him for a week and in a few days she was going to be heading off to London. She missed Jake so desperately when she was away from him. It was better for Jake to stay in LA with his dad and aunty, Alice knew it was going to be pretty hectic in London and she wouldn’t be able to give him the attention he deserved. So with that in mind Alice was determined to spend as much time as possible with him before she left. Alice’s friends had left messages and spoken to her about meeting up for coffee but she had very politely declined. Alice loved her friends deeply but she needed her son more.

Great update. I really enjoyed it. I hope Alice will be okay, and that this will bring her and Dana closer together. I can’t wait for more.
Wohoo, Dana went to London with Alice! :D It was nice to see Alice showing Dana how her life is over there. And the terror attack in London, I remember that day so well. Alice has some bad burns on her side? It’s not going all too well in the health department with her. But we already know she’s a fighter and she will survive this too. Thanks for continuing this story. I hope you’ll find some time to write another update soon. :)
I hope alice is o.k that was one bad day trust me I live just outside of london and my friend was working in london that day it was mad can’t wait to see what happens next please post soon great update
