“Hold on dont put me in the middle.” Tina said.
“Why not?” Jess said giving her a wet willie. Tina put her papers calmly aside after wiping off her ear.
“Okay now you are really going to get it.” She said tickling Jess. Bette joined in. Jess was doubled teamed, but she deserved it. After a couple of minutes Shannon walked in.
“Whats going on?” She asked.
“Nay Nay help me. I cant breathe.” Jess said in between laughs. Shannon jumped on the bed and tried to rescue Jess but ended up losing.
“Okay okay I cant take it any more.” Jess said a minute later. Tina stopped.
“Give.” She said.
“Yes yes I give.” Jess said trying to catch her breathe.
“Good because I am exhausted.” Tina said.
“So you gonna tell me what started this.” Tina said.
“Mom splashed me.” Jess said.
“She did.” Tina said.
“Yeah.” Jess said.
“Poor thing.” Tina said.
“Oh no she splashed me back and soaked me.” Bette said giving Jess the wet willie. Jess hated being on the receiving end.
“Oh gross mom.” Jess said putting her hand over her ears.
“See its not that funny is it.” Tina said.
“It is when your giving them.” Shannon said. Tina gave her one while she was watching Bette.
“Come I didnt do it to you.” She said.
“Youre right it is fun to give them.” Tina said.
“I am going to change the subject. I have decided not to sell the gallery. I am going to find someone to run it for me.” Bette said.
“Really thats great” Shannon said. “See Jess I told you she wouldnt be able to do.” Tina didnt say anything. Jess watched Tinas face as Shannon gave Bette a hug.
“So babe what do you think?” Bette asked. Tina didnt answer.
“Okay thats our cue come on lets go to bed.” Jess said getting off the bed.
“Okay I am coming goodnight guys” Shannon said. She and Jess kissed Bette and Tina good night and then went up stairs. Tina waited to hear the doors shut and then got up and shut the door then the vent.
“I cant believe you made a decision like that with out consulting me.” Tina said.

Wow it seems Jess has found her place playing with those kids. It seems like we have a lot to learn about this young lady. =D
Jess is one special child. Bette did an excellent job with her. Tina just stepped into the picture and gave her the home that Jess never quiet had. I hope that you will continue with this story.

Great chapter, Jess seems to be growing into a well balanced and responsible young lady. The factthat she doesn’t feel a need to tout her own horn for doing something good, speaks to hersense of self worth and inner strength. Good job B&T in raising this one. Please continue :o)
