“Do you have any ideas?” Bette asked.
“No but my ideal school would have both a good team and art school. Can you help me find one?” Jess said.
“I can do the art school part but you will have to help with the softball part.” Bette said.
“Maybe we can visit some of the schools why we are on the east coast in a couple of weeks.” Jess said.
“Maybe which ones did you have in mind?” Bette asked.
“Well the ones that have sent recruiters. I figure its the least I can do is look at the schools and see.” Jess said.
“True. You never know which one you will want to go to. It could be one you havent thought of.” Bette said.
“So we can do that?” Jess said.
“I dont see why not. Why dont the two of stay an extra week or so and look at some before camp that way we can rule out the ones you dont like and concentrate on the ones you do.” Bette said.
“Sounds good to me.” Jess said.
“Ill tell you what. I will call Lilly in the morning and see if we can set up a meeting with all the recruiters that are here.” Bette said.
“What kind of meeting?” Jess asked.
“The kind where we agree to visit their schools and tell them what we are interested in.” Bette said.
“Okay. Thanks Mom.” Jess said looking at Bette.
“Youre welcome baby.” Bette said hugging Jess and giving her a kiss. “So do you want to tell mama that we arent selling the gallery or do you want me to?” She asked.
“You can do it. I know you didnt want to sell it anyway and were out here thinking of an excuse not to.” Jess said.
“Oh really?” Bette said splashing Jess.
“Yes really” Jess said hitting Bette with a huge splash.
“Oh your in for it now.” Bette said. Jess ran into Bette and Tinas room and jumped on the bed next to Tina.
“Okay whats going on?” Tina asked holding her stack of papers on the bed. Bette came in quickly after Jess.
“She is going to get it.” Bette said coming closer to them. Jess pulled Tina in front her.

Wow it seems Jess has found her place playing with those kids. It seems like we have a lot to learn about this young lady. =D
Jess is one special child. Bette did an excellent job with her. Tina just stepped into the picture and gave her the home that Jess never quiet had. I hope that you will continue with this story.

Great chapter, Jess seems to be growing into a well balanced and responsible young lady. The factthat she doesn’t feel a need to tout her own horn for doing something good, speaks to hersense of self worth and inner strength. Good job B&T in raising this one. Please continue :o)
