“We tried the convenience store and also the gas station across the road; they’re all out of the blue ones,” Sam reported just as Bette handed the bottle over to Shane for closer inspection. Their friend took a good look at it and shrugged. Alice was adamant about wanting a blue Gatorade, but hey, red would have to do. Al was in absolutely no position to be picky at this moment. After all, spending a good chunk of the morning with one’s head buried inside a toilet bowl robbed a person of his effectiveness to make demands. And dignity, as a matter of fact.
Bette chucked a pack of Marlboros and some gum at Shane before slumping against the wall outside the dinky ladies room. She groaned at the heat – and the sheen of perspiration that was beginning to form on her skin. This place was drab, dreary and hot. Of course, they were also in a desert – so hey, no surprise there. They were at another rest stop off the interstate heading east. This was their second one since leaving the B&B a little less than an hour ago. No one had to pee. Alice though, had to puke. “She’s still in there?” She thumbed at the closed door.
“She already went out a couple of minutes ago..” Shane answered with a loud sigh. She tapped the fresh pack of smokes against her palm, tore open the seal and fished out a stick from inside. She cast a sideways glance at the fresh splatter of puke on the pavement and grimaced. “But she got sick again, so.. ya know.”
“Jesus, does she even have anything left to vomit?”
“I didn’t think she did, but then I made the fatal mistake of burping in her general vicinity..” Shane scratched her neck sheepishly. “I think she caught a whiff of the taco I just ate.” It smelled, to put it nicely, absolutely putrid.
“So she ran back in after that?”
“Yeah, and she hasn’t been out since then.”
“Must’ve been some taco.” Sam plopped down on the curb with as much grace as a frumpy bear. She leaned back and supported her torso with her toned arms, beads of sweat rolling down her skin and unto the pavement. She readjusted the dorky straw fedora that Alice had loaned her and groaned. Goodness, she was cooking in here. It was inhuman to be this hot so early in the morning.

Your last update was so long ago.I have read JTG from start to finish after it was recommended to me.It has been a most enjoyable read.One of the best FF i have read.I really hope you can find it in you to finish it off.I just can’t imagine what you will have happen on their actual Wedding Day laughs a plenty i would imagine so please post very soon.x

I’ve been waiting for this update like forever! it is the best Thanksgiving gift ever, so thank u ;DEvery time I read ur stories my kids thinks that I’m crazy because I laugh by myself and they wouldn’t guess why, LOL. the male strippers part was hilarious ;D

I hadn’t read this story since the first time it came out and I just have to say that re-reading it from begining to finish was just as enjoyable as I remember! This story is by far one of my favourite stories on this site and in existence.
Although I was a little sad to see that Part 3 of the wedding road trip never made an update. I would love to see this story continued one day. Thank you for your wonderful writing!
