“I think Al wouldn’t mind drinking the red one,”
Somewhere, a third voice jumped in the fray, halting whatever progress Bette was making towards the big-mouthed attendant.
“I think she’ll be too parched and dehydrated to argue about flavors.” Sam appeared from the other aisle, having overheard the conversation between the two. Possessing a fair amount of foresight, she purposely wedged herself in between her bestfriend and her would-be victim; attempting to prevent some damage by taking in the role of both the buffer and pacifier. She tried to catch Bette’s eyes, which were – to her dismay – still glued to the man behind her. “Right, B?”
Naturally, she was ignored.
Knowing her attempt on distracting her friend didn’t quite work, Sam placed a calming hand on Bette’s wrist and squeezed. She could only hold this one back for so long. With a weary sigh, Sam looked over her shoulder – meeting the defiant eyes staring back at her bestfriend. “You don’t really deserve this, cause frankly, you’re a jackass, but I think it would be best if you step away right now and go hide out in the back till we leave. It’s for your own good.” She smiled sweetly at the attendant; that smile of hers barely hiding the fact that she was having limited success keeping Bette from inching forward by digging both her heels into the floor. Unfortunately, the man stayed rooted at the same spot; his ego keeping him in place. The patient smile of Sam’s vanished and melted into a thin line. “Then by all means, stay here and get your ass handed to you by a girl. Or girls, to be more precise.” Her eyes flashed in warning.
Maybe it was the sight of Bette edging a little closer to where he stood, or that now it wasn’t just one – but two – girls looking at him as if they wanted to cut his manhood off; whatever the reason, it was enough to prompt the man to swallow his pride and do as he was told. He straightened his back, his face rigid, and deliberately moved at a snail’s pace, feigning nonchalance and trying to appear as if he was planning to head to the back to pick up more stock anyway (and not because he was just banished to the stock room by two women). He tried to walk away with as much dignity as he could muster, but in the eyes of the two heiresses, he looked every bit like a man who was cowering away with his tail tucked in between his legs.

Your last update was so long ago.I have read JTG from start to finish after it was recommended to me.It has been a most enjoyable read.One of the best FF i have read.I really hope you can find it in you to finish it off.I just can’t imagine what you will have happen on their actual Wedding Day laughs a plenty i would imagine so please post very soon.x

I’ve been waiting for this update like forever! it is the best Thanksgiving gift ever, so thank u ;DEvery time I read ur stories my kids thinks that I’m crazy because I laugh by myself and they wouldn’t guess why, LOL. the male strippers part was hilarious ;D

I hadn’t read this story since the first time it came out and I just have to say that re-reading it from begining to finish was just as enjoyable as I remember! This story is by far one of my favourite stories on this site and in existence.
Although I was a little sad to see that Part 3 of the wedding road trip never made an update. I would love to see this story continued one day. Thank you for your wonderful writing!
