Sam had a hearty laugh at her answer, unexpected as it was. “You’re kidding me!”
“I’m serious!” Bette was still all smiles. “If I was forced to marry someone other than Tina, I would’ve chosen you in a heartbeat.”
“Why?”
“Well, if I’m going to marry someone, I should love them already. Or at the very least, like them.” Bette shrugged. “And you know there are only a handful of people I love in this world.”
“We wouldn’t need to have sex though, right?”
“Of course not!” Bette shuddered, blanching at the thought of sleeping with her Sammy. They were practically sisters. “Marriage does not equal fucking.”
“That’s what she said.” Sam muttered with a teasing grin.
“That doesn’t apply to me and Tina, mind you.” Bette corrected herself. Just in case her friend got her wrong. She already got a lot of flak from both Alice and Shane about the impending death of her sex life once she got hitched. No need to add Sam to the fray too.
Sam yawned again. This time, she burrowed her head deeper into the crook of Bette’s neck. “Good thing you met TK, huh? Otherwise, you’d be stuck in a boring life with me.”
Bette merely smiled and gently ruffled Sam’s hair.
“I’m serious, you know.” She stressed softly a while later, when Sam was about to drift into sleep.
“Mm?”
“I would’ve married you. I would’ve been your gay Julia Roberts.”
Sam kept her eyes closed and snorted, a small smile gracing her lips. “And who am I, Dermont Mullronney?”
“Of course not,” Bette chuckled. She placed a soft kiss on Sam’s forehead. “You’d be my Cameron Diaz.”

Desert View Lodge.
The lodge Alice booked for the four of them wasn’t as fancy as the bed and breakfast they stayed in at Palm Springs, but the view they got in their VIP suite more than made up for what it lacked aesthetically. From their suite’s spacious balcony, they had a panoramic view of the canyon’s south rim as well as an unobstructed view of the infinity pool two floors below (which Shane enjoyed shamelessly – particularly since there was an abundance of bikini-clad women to feast on during her smoke breaks). The food left nothing to be desired, though. And since they were a group composed of picky eaters with sensitive tastebuds, they hightailed it out of there for dinner and scoured the area for a restaurant that would satisfy their snobby palates. Naturally, it took them forever to find a restaurant they could all agree on, so when they returned back to the lodge that evening, they found themselves an hour late for their evening of debauchery. The hired strippers were already camped outside their suite’s door, waiting to be let in by the four heiresses.

Your last update was so long ago.I have read JTG from start to finish after it was recommended to me.It has been a most enjoyable read.One of the best FF i have read.I really hope you can find it in you to finish it off.I just can’t imagine what you will have happen on their actual Wedding Day laughs a plenty i would imagine so please post very soon.x

I’ve been waiting for this update like forever! it is the best Thanksgiving gift ever, so thank u ;DEvery time I read ur stories my kids thinks that I’m crazy because I laugh by myself and they wouldn’t guess why, LOL. the male strippers part was hilarious ;D

I hadn’t read this story since the first time it came out and I just have to say that re-reading it from begining to finish was just as enjoyable as I remember! This story is by far one of my favourite stories on this site and in existence.
Although I was a little sad to see that Part 3 of the wedding road trip never made an update. I would love to see this story continued one day. Thank you for your wonderful writing!
