“B?”
Weary, Bette exhaled loudly, her shoulders slumping down in surrender. “I’ll take them out.” She promised.
“Good.”
“Is that all you have to say?” Bette asked, ready to get her vows back (and burn it).
“No..” Sam admitted with an apologetic smile, she wasn’t quite done yet. “This last paragraph..”
“What about it?” Bette questioned, looking wary as hell. Unlike the first and second parts of her vows, she was confident about the last part. If anything else, she considered it the redeeming part of her – admittedly – horny masterpiece. It was beautiful, and extra romantic to boot. In her opinion, at least. “Is it too sappy? Too romantic?” She asked. “Cause if it’s too cringe-worthy, I can tone it down a bit.”
“It’s not that..” Sam gave her head a small shake, treading carefully. “It’s just.. this thing.. it um.. it reads like a eulogy.”
If she hadn’t had the wind knocked out of her before, she had now. Bette gaped at her bestfriend, utterly stunned. Well she certainly wasn’t expecting that. “A fucking eulogy? Are you kidding?”
“No. Unfortunately.” Sam shook her head somberly. “I know that she’s been a scary bridezilla lately and that some people feel like getting married is nothing short of signing your own death warrant, but B, honestly, are you planning to kill Tina on your wedding night?”
“No!”
“Could’ve fooled me.”
Bette let out a groan. “Well, I was thinking of sending her to heaven a couple of times – but not in the literal sense, of course.” She shot a weak glance at the paper in Sam’s hand. “Which part of it reads like a eulogy?”
“Everything.”
“In what way though?” Bette sought clarity.
Sam scratched the side of her face, silently pondering how to go about explaining her point. A defensive Bette would dismiss her easily if she didn’t present this right. “You glorified her too much.” She dished, putting it simply.
“And that’s a bad thing?”
“I think it sorta is when you’re reading your vows.” Sam offered gently. “Vows, Bette.” She stressed. “Promises. Pledges of love, faithfulness and all those other things. You spent too much time praising and complimenting Tina that you forgot what’s most important. Ironically, you barely vowed a thing in your so-called vows.”

Your last update was so long ago.I have read JTG from start to finish after it was recommended to me.It has been a most enjoyable read.One of the best FF i have read.I really hope you can find it in you to finish it off.I just can’t imagine what you will have happen on their actual Wedding Day laughs a plenty i would imagine so please post very soon.x

I’ve been waiting for this update like forever! it is the best Thanksgiving gift ever, so thank u ;DEvery time I read ur stories my kids thinks that I’m crazy because I laugh by myself and they wouldn’t guess why, LOL. the male strippers part was hilarious ;D

I hadn’t read this story since the first time it came out and I just have to say that re-reading it from begining to finish was just as enjoyable as I remember! This story is by far one of my favourite stories on this site and in existence.
Although I was a little sad to see that Part 3 of the wedding road trip never made an update. I would love to see this story continued one day. Thank you for your wonderful writing!
