    “But aren’t vows supposed to be sappy? If we’re being honest here, wedding vows are just love letters read out loud.” Bette argued.

     

    “It’s still lame, B.”

     

    “I don’t agree.”

     

    “Nobody starts their vows with ‘dear blah-blah..’”

     

    “Laura and Toni did.”

     

    “They’re divorced now.”

     

    “Oh.”

     

    “Change it, buddy. Believe me.”

     

    “Okay, fine, what do you want me to say instead?” Bette arched a brow, still quite defiant. “Yo Tina?”

     

    “…”

     

    “Hey gurl!”

     

    “…”

     

    “Sup hot momma?”

     

    Sam cracked up laughing. “You’re impossible, you know that?”

     

    “Cause you’re picking on the little things!”

     

    “You asked for my honest opinion.” Sam reminded matter-of-fact. “And I’m saying that starting your vows with ‘Dear Tina’ is a little laughable.”

     

    “Jesus, fine. I’ll keep that in mind.” Bette grumbled. “Now can you please go past the fucking opening line and read the rest of it? Give me feedback that I might actually find useful.”

     

    Sam had to shake her head a little and smile. Bette was getting riled up. No surprise there. With a deep sigh, she did as she was asked and took a few minutes to read the vows in it’s entirety. This time, she waited until she finished the whole thing before dishing out any sort of feedback. She kept her face passive the entire time, giving nothing away. As expected, she looked up when she was done to find an anxious Bette looking at her like she was about to shit bricks any minute now.

     

    “Well?” Bette prodded, impatient as always.

     

    Sam opened her mouth to speak, but then closed it again after a moment. She needed to collect her thoughts first. Of course, she didn’t let the process drag on, after all, Bette looked just about ready to throttle the words out of her with her bare hands. “Am I right to assume that you wrote this just a few days ago?”

     

    “The day before yesterday.” Bette confirmed with a nod. “How can you tell?”

     

    “It shows.”

     

    “What shows?”

     

    Sam’s lips curved upwards. Gingerly, she extended a hand and pointed at Bette’s chest. “B, vows are supposed to be written from here,” She gestured at her heart. “Not from there.” She let her gaze travel down to Bette’s crotch. “You’re sexually frustrated and it shows in your writing.”

    13. I’ve been waiting for this update like forever! it is the best Thanksgiving gift ever, so thank u ;DEvery time I read ur stories my kids thinks that I’m crazy because I laugh by myself and they wouldn’t guess why, LOL. the male strippers part was hilarious ;D

    17. I hadn’t read this story since the first time it came out and I just have to say that re-reading it from begining to finish was just as enjoyable as I remember! This story is by far one of my favourite stories on this site and in existence.

      Although I was a little sad to see that Part 3 of the wedding road trip never made an update. I would love to see this story continued one day. Thank you for your wonderful writing!
