“Oh.”
“It needs polishing.”
“May I see?”
“Promise not to laugh?”
“It can’t be that bad, can it?”
Bette’s shoulders deflated. “I wanted to write something memorable.” She admitted in a small voice. “Like Harry Potter-esque vows in terms of epicness.”
“But instead..?”
“I wrote a Twilight.”
Sam flinched. “That is bad.”
“You better believe. Help me out? Please?”
Believe it or not, when it comes to writing essays, letters and other sort of literary pieces, Alice excelled above everyone else in their group of friends. She and Bette were both good writers, but even Bette had to admit – although not to her face – that Alice was better. However, there was no way in hell that she’d go to the blonde for help with her vows. Cause really, if there’s something Bette learned in their twenty plus years of friendship, it was that soliciting any form of advice or counsel from Alice – no matter how well-meaning her friend was – was akin to asking a newborn baby to teach you how to drive a stick shift car. It was reckless, idiotic, and simply just insane.
So today, in her hour of need, she decided to make use of having a relatively levelheaded friend in her life and sought Sam’s advice.
“Before I help you out with this,” Sam began, studying the pricey piece of stationary in her hand. “I need to ask you one thing..”
“What is it?”
“Are you really serious about wanting my help?”
“Of course I am!”
“So you really want me to give you my honest opinion?” Sam just had to confirm. She had her reservations. Bette was sensitive to any form of criticism. And really, there was nothing wrong with being a little cautious (especially when you’re dealing with someone with a volatile temper like Bette Porter).
“I’m a big girl, I can take it.” The bride-to-be proclaimed ever so boldly – fronting a tough hide when she was feeling every bit as sensitive as an exposed nipple at below zero temperatures.
“You really want the truth?”
“No, lie to me.”
“No problem.”

Your last update was so long ago.I have read JTG from start to finish after it was recommended to me.It has been a most enjoyable read.One of the best FF i have read.I really hope you can find it in you to finish it off.I just can’t imagine what you will have happen on their actual Wedding Day laughs a plenty i would imagine so please post very soon.x

I’ve been waiting for this update like forever! it is the best Thanksgiving gift ever, so thank u ;DEvery time I read ur stories my kids thinks that I’m crazy because I laugh by myself and they wouldn’t guess why, LOL. the male strippers part was hilarious ;D

I hadn’t read this story since the first time it came out and I just have to say that re-reading it from begining to finish was just as enjoyable as I remember! This story is by far one of my favourite stories on this site and in existence.
Although I was a little sad to see that Part 3 of the wedding road trip never made an update. I would love to see this story continued one day. Thank you for your wonderful writing!
