    Match maid in heaven..

     

    Out of all the times that Bette could go into a deep sleep, she chose to do so now.

     

    Tina exhaled through her nostrils, fighting the urge to yank the pillow below Bette’s sleepyhead and hit her with it like before. She studied her girlfriend’s face intently, trying to figure out how to go about it. The best way to wake Bette was to pepper her face with kisses – but though she was tempted to, she knew she couldn’t do that. They were not just lovers now, they were master and maid too. And to do anything as intimate as kissing would just blur the already blurry boundaries between them. And right now, the last thing she wanted was to be accused of taking advantage of her boss while she slept – well, she knew Bette would absolutely love it – but she’d hide this fact with teasing and lord it over her head for days on end. She’ll never win. Tina sighed deeply. Where’s a bullhorn when you need one?

     

    Last try..

     

    “Miss Bette?” She called out, shaking the sleeping girl.

     

    The only reaction she got was a loud snort.

     

    Oh well.. I tried. Tina shrugged. With a naughty smile, she reached out and covered Bette’s face – enclosing the girl’s nose and open mouth inside a dome made by both of her hands. She felt the hot breath on her skin, as well as the soft vacuum created when Bette tried to inhale. A minute passed until..

     

    “Gaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!” Bette’s eyelids flew wide open, confusion and panic in her brown eyes.

     

    Tina smiled and pulled her hands away. “Good morning Miss Bette!” She sang her chirpy greeting.

     

    Bette sat up gasping for breath, filling her hungry lungs with oxygen instead of the pungent air that jolted her awake and left her chest heaving. A tiny giggle to her right snapped her head to the side. With her lips forming a tight line, she glared at the woman standing there, looking at her in barely concealed amusement. Tina’s bright smile was both a slap to the face and a welcome treat to her eyes. “You..” She pointed an accusing finger at her newest maid. “Are you planning to commit attempted murder every fucking morning?! This is the fifth time in five days that you’ve tried to kill me!” Bette snapped, her veins gaining prominence on her neck.

There are so many examples of your unique humor from Bette’s admission of her love for Tina to Tina’s drooling conversation with Bette concerning her breath. Awesome.
