    Match maid in heaven..

     

    “My God..” Bette exhaled. “It smells like.. like..”

     

    “Daffodils?”

     

    “Formalin.” The brunette pinched the tip of her nose in disgust and turned her head away. “Jesus, what kind of parlor did you go to, a funeral one?”

     

    “Don’t be mean.” Sonja pouted, grabbing a fistful of strands and bringing them to her nose, inhaling consciously. “It’s rejuvenating. I’m only supposed to use it for a week to get rid of all the dry strands-”

     

    “How? By embalming them?” Bette retorted wickedly, donning an impish grin.

     

    “Ahhhhh Miss Bette,” Sonja sighed and shook her head, accepting the fact that she could never win against this one when exchanging barbs. “You’re a handful and you’re too much of a smart ass, pardon my language, but I’m really going to miss you..” She took the girl in her arms and gave her the tightest embrace. “I need to go. Be nice to Miss Tina, okay?”

     

    “I’ll try.”

     

    “You behave now..” Sonja kissed the top of those messy brown curls and hugged the girl tighter. “I’ll call and check on you from time to time. Will you miss me?”

     

    “No.”

     

    “Is that a lie?”

     

    “Maybe.”

     

    Sonja chuckled. “I love you, my little miss.” She gave her adoptive daughter from hell one more squeeze and held on for another minute.

     

    “Porky?” Bette murmured from the woman’s chest.

     

    “Yes?”

     

    “Your giant bow is attacking my face.”

     

     

    “Yeah? Could be worse..”

     

    “How?”

     

    “It could come undone and then my chichis would be the ones attacking you..”

     

    “Ewwwwwwww.. saggy tits! Gross..”

     

    “They’re not saggy..”

     

    Bette snorted. “The only thing keeping them up is the mountain of tummy flab they’re resting on.”

     

    “My stomach fat is quite handy, huh?” The woman giggled softly.

     

    The master and her maid remained in the same tight position for yet another minute.

     

    “Hey Sonja?”

     

    “Yes Miss Bette?”

     

    “I’ll really miss you..”

     

    “I know, me too.”

     

    Silence.

     

    “Can your bow let go of my face now?”

     

    “Give me another minute.”

     

    “Okay.”

There are so many examples of your unique humor from Bette’s admission of her love for Tina to Tina’s drooling conversation with Bette concerning her breath. Awesome.
