    It’s decision time for Ashley, is tonight the night?

    ‘Well, I still think honesty is the best policy,’ I chuckled and she smacked me lightly on the arm and I rubbed it in mock pain.

    ‘Yeah, but the rest of us still live with our parents so you do what you want with your tissues OK?’ Maggie teased. ‘Oh, or isn’t Addy keen on the idea, huh?’ She smiled when she saw my pout.

    ‘Dude, you whipped!’ I glared at her and leant back onto my hands.

    ‘Yep, but you know I love it!’ I threw in a wink and a smirk which made her laugh again. We could easily joke about this stuff as there was no sexual connection between us any more, apart from the recognition that we were both smokin’ hot.

    At least she was smiling now.

    Kate really knew how to cheer me up, she relaxed me as I could be myself and she wasn’t into drama. I mean Bella was a great friend but Kate had been my lover so understood me in a different way than just a true friend would. I looked at her as she sat opposite and wondered if she would be a good person to talk to about all this but I wasn’t sure, as she would be loyal to Spencer to the death.

    ‘I saw what was going on out there,’ Kate broke the silence and my eyes shot to hers. She grinned softly, ‘you know I’m not just about the muscle Mag’s,’ I nodded in acknowledgement, waters ran extremely deep with the gorgeous brunette.

    ‘Do you like her?’ Kate questioned gently and this time I sighed.

    ‘I can’t think straight enough around her to know,’ I explained and stretched out on the bed so I could rest my head in her lap, it was too hot for leathers so she had on tight jeans instead. A strong hand stroked my hair and I started to relax under the familiar touch, I knew I’d always be safe with Kate, like I was with Ashley, like I thought I would be with Spencer.

    ‘You can’t?’ The sexy brunette sounded very surprised.
