Suddenly , Carmen stops speaking. Images of Shane with other women come to her mind; her touching them, kissing them, smiling at them the same way that she used to with Carmen. She thinks ‘Maybe Christian is telling the truth´.

“Finally, you´ve stopped talking!” Christian says with a smile. “She may be is the hottest woman on the planet, but she’s still being a complete idiot. You know what you need to do? Go out, get drunk and hook up with the first woman you meet on the street. That works very well for me,” he says, nodding.

“Works?”,Carmen says ,shaking her head. “I don’t think so. Look at you! You Don’t trust anyone. When was the last time you said ‘I love you’ and you didn’t regret it two seconds later? Thanks for your advice, but I’m not going to try it.”
