“When I said that what happened at college didn’t justify her cheating all the way through her marriage – that was when she said that Emma had slept with Rosemary”
“This is something surreal “Bette said

“What happened with Kate then?”
“I just started screaming at her – I don’t know what – I think every swear word in the book were in there somewhere. I said she was the worst fucking mother and I hated her and I never wanted to see her again – fucking bitch “Tina yelled the last two words.
Bette knew that Tina hated losing her temper like that and she always got tearful and reflective. She lent back and looked at the ceiling
“This is a mess “
“It is – the fucking silly cow “
Bette moved forward so she was closer to Tina. She took her hand and getting closer she kissed her on the lips. Tina was still tearful and the tenderness of the gesture started more tears
“Okay – enough of that – lets go and lie on the bed – it’s fucking freezing sitting here. I am not risking hyperthermia because of bloody Kate – come on babe”
Tina obeyed Bette and they were soon lying on the bed, still in the dark. Bette put a hand on Tina’s side and kissed her again.
“I wish you had rung me “Bette said
“And say what – can you ask Emma if she remembers going down on your mother?”
“Okay – you made your point “that was one image Bette didn’t want to let get lodged in her brain.
“What next Bette? “
“Apart from me finding Kate and tearing her limb from limb. This isn’t just about her and Emma anymore – this is has dragged my family into this and that is unforgivable “
“My head is all over the place “
“I am not surprised “
“I need you to be the rational and sensible one Bette – I really need you to help me get my head around this “
“I thought you hated me being the sensible one”
Tina laughed – it was only for a few seconds but it was progress. Bette kissed her again and moved closer.

Thanks! This was great! I love that Tina and Bette want let Kate hurt their relationship. Kate is in major shit now with everyone. I don’t think Tina will come back after this one. Melvin is going to go off on Kate. Lord Tina Dad is going to go crazy on Kate also. I can’t wait. Please post again today since you go back to work tomorrow. Glad to read another update. I’m happy that Bette and Tina are being reasonable about their judgment over their parent’s past. It was really a bad situation but I’m sure that they’ll get over this. As for Kate. She is a bitch! Hehe

I’m glad B&T doesn’t Let this influence their relationship with each other and Emma and Rosemary.

I guess it´s always easier to lash out than to accept your own flaws – but this really was a shitty thing to do. I´m sure Kate´s main goal was Emma, but she had to have known the potential damage she could have caused.
Hm, Kate is a fully-fledged demon now in everyone’s eyes, but is what she’s done really totally unforgivable? Really?
Until a few months ago, Tina loved Kate just fine. Time heals everything – it certainly worked in Emma’s favor, didn’t it? Because no matter what she’s done, she’s been forgiven and everyone loves her now.
Kate’s just going to have to give it a while. Something is clearly wrong, and the woman is losing her marbles. Maybe someone will eventually reach out and figure out what it is, or encourage her to get therapy or something. Hell, it’s Christmas, and who wants to be mad at their mother at Christmas?
In the meantime though, Kate will have to answer for her professional wrong doings… that one can’t really be let go.
In personal matters, Emma was no saint and she’s rolling high now, so surely Kate will be afforded the same opportunity by everyone for forgiveness.
LOL, I can’t see any of them doing it though. I think they’ll have the cheeriest Christmas ever out of spite. ;P

I liked this chapter, and I am glad that Bette and Tina rationally thought through and did anything rash.
The love between them is very strong indeed, and it shows that they will beat with just about anything and anyone.
Bette’s view was correct, that in the past, and it’s between the parents.
Kate just really fucked up royally. She wanted to hurt and tarnish Emma, and she does not think that what she was doing to her daughter. If she doesn’t really want to be alone, and lose her daughter. She need to think it all. I hope she come to her senses, but it will not be an easy task if she want to repair with the relationship everybody.
I’m with the others, it will be just bad then you post a new chapter once a week. I was hooked on this story, and I like the usual amount :P
I look forward to the next chapter.

I am liking Kate less and less now. I am really impressed at how mature Bette and Tina are. They have come a long way where they can forgive their mothers for having an affair. It does bring hope that they will one day forgive Kate too.
