“How about driving us to Connecticut when she starts at Yale ?” Tina said laughing

“There was a hint of truth in it though – we both want the best for her – she will get the best love and care and whatever she needs and we will guide her but there are going to be times when she makes her own decisions “
Bette sighed “Okay – she can go to Princeton if she wants or Columbia “
Tina laughed “ You are bad “
“No – that’s the old Bette – Ti – if she’s happy she can do anything “
Tina smiled
“Thank you “
“Mind you – I don’t envy her trying to tell you that “
“Me ?”
“Yes – don’t make out that I am the only one who is ambitious for her “
Tina nodded “Fair enough – I know we will both have to reign ourselves in “
“We will try and reign ourselves in – that’s all we can do – Tina – we are just like all the other parents who want the best for their kids. Angie is happy – lets work at keeping her that way “
Tina nodded “I agree – and she is very happy in New York with her two mommies. She knows that I am so much happier than I ever was in LA – and that might have a lot to do with a certain fantastically perfect art dealer “
Bette lent across and gave Tina a very long and lingering kiss – the kiss went on and on. Bette just added to the power of the kiss by resting the palm of her hand against the crotch of Tina’s trousers – the blonde shuddered as Bette ended the kiss. When the kiss ended Bette held Tina’s gaze. Even if Tina had wanted to end the look she couldn’t

Thaks for another chapter of this wonderful story AllyE. They are all doing wonderfully well and Angie is such a little darling. The first day of school usually affects the parents way more so than the children. It’s good that Bette totally understands just how affected by this day Tina really is and that she also has the perfect cure for the sadness, a long day of making love to her beautiful partner. Can’t wait for them to pick Angie up and she tells them what a wonderful day she has had and the youngsters she has met. Fantastic chapter. Thanks for posting.

Lovely chapter! Wow for the change that Bette went through. I mean she’s still her old self, a control freak, lists-organized woman but now she takes the time to explain and share what she’s doing which is great. Tina’s very lucky to have such a thoughtful partner in her life, they’re both lucky to have each other and Angie. I liked their sweet banters about Uni, Bette like most parents wanting her daughter to follow in her step. I’m looking to their day together, to how they’ll keep their memories afresh about how to make a baby (goofy smile) and especially for the reactions of Kit and Alice when they’ll know about the new baby. Read you very soon.
