Angie nodded “Can we do something after school to cheer her up “
“Sure “ Bette had her own plan for how she was going to take good care of Tina – in an very adult way.
Angie took her sweater and pulled it over her head, Bette helped her put it in place
“Right – if you are starting school you are going to need some good breakfast – what would you like to eat ?”
Angie followed Bette into the sitting room and into the kitchen. They worked together and in ten minutes they were sitting eating. Angie had cereal and then toast – she was just finishing her orange juice when Tina came through. Bette gestured to Angie to go and greet her mother. Angie jumped down and went across to Tina
“Do I look nice ?”
“You look lovely darling “ Tina picked her up and they hugged. Bette picked the camera up from the table and quickly checked that it was ready to use
“Okay – lets have both of you looking at the camera “
Angie hugged Tina as they both posed for the camera. Bette took several shots and smiled
“That is one for the family photo album “
“I want one of me and momma B as well “ Angie said
“Quite right “ Tina agreed taking Bette’s camera as Angie climbed into Bette’s lap. Bette started to tickle Angie and the shots of them were totally natural with both brunettes laughing. Tina sat down and poured herself a coffee
“Are you okay mommy ?” Angie asked as she looked at the images on the digital camera.
“Yes – I will be fine “
“I will miss you and momma B too “
“I know that – you are such a big girl now “ Tina touched Angie’s face “I am so proud of you “
They shared a few minutes before Bette announced it was time for them all to set off. Bette went to get their coats leaving Tina alone with Angie
“Are you going to be okay mommy ?”
“Yes – I am very proud of you “
“Thank you “

Thaks for another chapter of this wonderful story AllyE. They are all doing wonderfully well and Angie is such a little darling. The first day of school usually affects the parents way more so than the children. It’s good that Bette totally understands just how affected by this day Tina really is and that she also has the perfect cure for the sadness, a long day of making love to her beautiful partner. Can’t wait for them to pick Angie up and she tells them what a wonderful day she has had and the youngsters she has met. Fantastic chapter. Thanks for posting.

Lovely chapter! Wow for the change that Bette went through. I mean she’s still her old self, a control freak, lists-organized woman but now she takes the time to explain and share what she’s doing which is great. Tina’s very lucky to have such a thoughtful partner in her life, they’re both lucky to have each other and Angie. I liked their sweet banters about Uni, Bette like most parents wanting her daughter to follow in her step. I’m looking to their day together, to how they’ll keep their memories afresh about how to make a baby (goofy smile) and especially for the reactions of Kit and Alice when they’ll know about the new baby. Read you very soon.
