For as far as I know, Bette has a job and Tina as well. You can’t expect them to quit there jobs because you want to take care of them. Don’t get me wrong, Kit. I know all you want to do is take care but I should say, propose it to them and let them decide. And don’t be disappointed when they decide differently.”

“I think you’re right. I’m always ahead of myself. Thank you baby for being the sane one.”

Kit kissed her husband and looked him in the eye.

“You know, my father told me this story of how my mother made him work for her heart. He didn’t cherished it, he broke it. But the story had a lot of similarities with ours. How I worked you and gave you a hard time before I gave you my heart. I’ll make you this promise Sonny Benson, I’ll never brake your heart!”

Sonny looked at Kit and answered her that he knew. And he made the promise that he wouldn’t break hers. That’s how they fell asleep.

A few hours later, Kit woke up. Sonny was still alseep. She stood up and went to the bathroom. When she was done, she walked to her father’s room. He was also still asleep. She then walked to Bette’s room. She knocked at the door but there was no answer. Quitely she opened the door. She looked at the sight before her eyes. Tina was laying half on top of Bette. Bette was laying under her her legs intertwined with Tina’s. What a beautiful side.

Softly Kit turned around and closed the door.

She went back to her room where she took a shower and got dressed. Then she went looking for Marina. There was a lot that needed to be done today.

When she told Marina her wishes, she walked back to her father’s room. He was waking up.

“Goodmorning sleepy head,” she greeted her father.

He greeted her back with a smile. And asked her if she always woke up that early.

“I have a child, so I have to. Reminds me of the call I have to make to see how he’s doing.”
