Bette closed the door of their room and watched Tina sleeping. She looked so gorgeous and so peaceful while sleeping. Tears came into her eyes. She remembered what Kit told her, she should cherish Tina and most important of all, communicate. That was something she was not good at. She remembered their conversation at the park. When she really lost it when Tina asked her why she was afraid of her heritage. And then the stupid promise she made Tina make of never asking her anything about her past.

In summary, she knew more about Tina than Tina knew about her and still Tina came when she asked her to come with her. Not knowing where she’d step into. That was some confidence Tina had in her. What did she do to deserve someone like Tina and what would she have to do to keep Tina in her life?

Kit told her from what she’d been telling her about Tina, she already loved her. That made Bette smile. She missed her sister’s approval. And then there was her father, what would he say about Tina?

First things first. She took her clothes out, only keeping on her underwear and tanktop. She slipped in the bed and moved close to Tina. Tina stirred in her sleep but didn’t wake up. Bette put her arm over Tina and finally she fell asleep.

Kit and Sonny

Both Kit and Sonny changed and stepped into bed. Although Kit had an emotional day, she couldn’t sleep. All kinds of thoughts were going through her mind. She had to make some adjustments in their house for her sister and her girlfriend. But she also might have to take her father in the house. Her house was big enough but…………

“Sweetie, what’s on your mind? You’re tossing and turning.”

“I’m thinking about the future. We might get some new inhabitants in our home. Is that okay with you?”

“You’re talking about your father and Bette and Tina?”

“Yes, I want to have Bette and Tina around so they can finish their education. And my father, well it depends on how he’ll go through surgery. He wants it, he’s willing to live.”

“Honey, I don’t care, I’d love to welcome your family in our home. I know how much they mean to you. But don’t you think they should have a voice in this decision?
