“I guess you remember it the same way, eh, sweet lady…” John reached out his carefully manicured hand and ran the back of it down Tina’s cheek. That knocked Tina instantly out of her momentary thought freeze. She pushed his hand away.
“Stop it, John. What don’t you get about we are over? For such a brilliant attorney, you’re being totally ignorant to accept the undisputed facts before you. You’ve wasted time and money making the trip here.”
John’s menacing form stepped into Tina’s space and before she knew it he had one arm around her back and he pulled her forward holding her just hard enough against his chest that there was no way for her to even try to get away. He placed his lips against her ear…
“Oh, Tina, you know me better than that. I never waste time or money.” As quickly as he had brought her forward, he just as quickly relaxed his grip and stepped back.
“Now, you be a good girl and take some time to think about ending this foolish little jaunt around Lesbianville. I’ll be waiting with open arms.” He bent slightly and kissed her on the lips – then turned and walked away.
Tina recoiled from his touch; standing motionless for a moment. Then the anger rose. There was only one way John got her address and she was livid. She picked up the phone and called her mother.
“Hello…” her mother answered after two rings.
“Mother, I forgave you for giving John my number…I am so angry with you…How could you give him my address? That man is a bully…he’s…just…I could spit right now!”
“Christina, please, calm down…”
“Why should I calm down…I just had to endure his arrogance and subtle threats….”
“Christina, on everything I hold dear, I did not give him your address. I swear to you I did not do that.”
“Then how the hell did he get it? He knows I’m in Philly, but the DA’s office would never give out my address…I am so upset…”
“Honey, it sounds as if he was on a mission to find you and when someone is in that mode, they will find whatever it is or whoever it is they’re looking for…please, if you’re worried about him bothering you, tell someone in your office. They’ll make sure he stays away from you.”

Its bad when someone who knows the law is stalking you. He didnt do any thing wrong Tina let him in he just kissed her. but a retraining order will keep him so many feet away and any phone calls. but can’t stop him from hiring other people to do his dirty work for him. Plux could be in trouble. thanks

John scares me, because he has already stalked Bette and now he is letting Tina know that he will not take no for an answer. Beautiful Poem as always.
OMG… bette should take her to her apartment for good… the hell with that bastard rick… or better yet to a place no one knows about… some hotel… some where but not at tina’s… love this story… please keep them safe…

It had been okay, but there never were skyrockets in flight.’ Sounds like Tina and John’s afternoon delight (or morning, evening, whatever) wasn’t too tasty to Tina. I swear no pun was intended…okay I’m a bad liar a lame pun was intended. You know it’s bad when someone who knows the law is after you. =/

That John guy is a creapy ass – AmandaMG is right, Bette should take Tina away to a place only they know about for now. More this was way to short….

Another awesome post Rene. This is such a great story! I love your skills – you have a profound ability to “take me there.” I feel like I’m standing right there watching it happen as I’m reading it. I can’t help but want to reach out and slap Rick and John and then drag Tina & Bette off to a safe haven. It seems to me that Tina would technically have a case for a restraining order – he did make sexual advances towards her – holding her close against him and then he kissed her on the lips…and him knowing Bette’s name really creeped Tina out – she needs to tell Bette about that. At the very least Bette should get Tina and herself out of Tina’s apartment now! What was Rick doing in the courtroom? And OK – Tina is an intelligent woman…she knows she is in danger due to the case she is working on, so why would she open her door without looking through the peek hole, or at least leave the chain hooked until she saw who it was? And asking the front desk to let her talk to whomever is wanting to come up…well, there all all kinds of ways around that. They need to get out of that apartment and report it immediately!! Oh, and did Tina’s mom meet with her long lost lover yet?
I totally agree with Amanda. Why is Tina still staying in her apartment? She should be either staying with Bette at hewr place, or they should be renting or subletting a place until the trial is over.
