    ALL QUESTIONS ANSWERED FINALLY!! Who’s a sneak, who’s not, who’s a bitch, who’s not…Is Susan a schizo? Does Bette save Tina from Helena? Now, you’ll know…

    “I spoke to Susan after the trial just on a quick guess that perhaps she ran into Helena Peabody either in the New York clubs or through some of her wealthy clients.  I also spoke with the Chief of Police here.  He and I agreed if Helena approached anyone to help do you or Tina harm, we were going to set something up.  Helena seemed to have forgotten that one of the stipulations in that report filed after her attack on Tina was to stay away from her and you.

     

    “Remember when we spoke on the phone and Helena came into your office?  You very cleverly put it on speakerphone.  I knew after hearing that that Helena was far from over with you.  That’s when this little Helena payback plan was put into motion.  All Susan wanted was to have the reward of seeing the great ***** Helena Peabody go down, so she agreed to go along with her offer of money to restart her landscaping business and working with us out here to complete this sting on her.  And more than one person heard the threat to cut Tina today.”

     

    “I’ll tell you the rest of the story later.  Tina, you did great.”

     

    “WHAT!!  Tina, don’t tell me you knew about this!”

     

    “Yes, babe, I did.  Not in the beginning but Susan then told me what was going to happen. And then I talked to Nancy.  The only way to catch her and stop this was for me to be in the loop.”

     

    “But, T, you could have been hurt or worse, for Chrissakes.”

     

    “Helena wasn’t going to hurt me.  It’s you she wanted to hurt.”

     

    “Wait a minute,” Bette said, “how did you know to call Susan? How do you know Susan?”

     

    “I went to Law School at NYU, Bette.  I met her while I was in New York.”  She gave Bette a slight smile.  “Tell Alice I’m probably on a New York chart.”

     

    “Oh, my God.Alice is not going to believe thisI don’t even believe it.” Bette said, still shaking her head in disbelief. 

     

     

     

    Just then there were several gunshots and screaming.  And a lot of commotion coming from outside.

    3. holy mother of god, i totally forgot about nancy and now i remember in one chapter you said that bette and her will meet again soon under similar circumstances….i did feel that susan was good, and it was proven, and i’m kinda said for helena…well actually for peggy, it’s her daughter after all…i’m glad B&T are fine, let’s see the canadian wedding and susan will be okay i hope, she deserves to go home to her love…thanks for clearing everything

      Another wondrous instalment which finally revealed some of the truth.

      A mark of genius by have Susan double cross Helena and then bring Faye’s daughter Diana in to the mix to dish out some pay back.

      Still breathing heavy from all those shocks.

      I do hope that Susan will make a speedy recovery and that Bette and Tina get some personal time to reconnect after all of this horror.

      Great to see Nancy back at the front line.

    8. RC, never saw all this coming. GREAT CHAPTER and just loved this story. Payback is hell isn’t it. So glad that Susan was not a bad guy and I should have seen this coming from little hints that you dropped awhile back. I wqas in law enforcement for almost 17 yrs. (Court side) and should have reconized some things but, no it all went by me. Never thought of Buckley’s daughter coming into the fray. Happy it ended with our girls allright and together and Nancy is OK!!!!!. Great story. Loved it. Let Susan be okay and go back to her girl. Thank you.

    17. I just discovered your wonderful story about two days ago. Good thing I was able to catch up with all 81 chapters before you posted the finale (had to do the pesky school stuff in between reading your posts).
      Your take on B&T’s story is quite different and innovative. Not the usual B&T fare. Your years as a legal reporter (if I remember right) has served you well. Maybe you can write one of those who dun it, murder mysteries which goes straight to #1 in the NY Times bestseller list, earn millions of dollars and ride off happily towards the sunset with your honey by your side. Of course the main protagonists would be B&T. Hehehe! A girl could dream, but I will buy your book if you ever decide to write it.
      I hope you will continue to weave beautiful stories and thank you very much for sharing your passion with all of us.
