    “***** it, Mother, if you got somebody involved in this, I’m going to spit nails.”    And to the walls, she yelled, “STAY THE ***** OUT OF MY LIFE, MOTHER!”

    Whew, that was stupid.  I got just a little over zealous there trying to keep all the players together.  I never should have gone passed The Planet againactually, it’s been several times.  I just know for sure she saw me one other time.  Well, at least there’s one less person I have to keep track of now.   “She” is going to be very sorry she got involved indirectly with the likes of me.  She thinks she’s so ***** smart – but the rich ***** is getting antsy. Things are going to be happening and pretty soon.     I sure am glad because then I can come back here, sit on this hard bench, and finally have a smile on my face.  It’s been a long time, hasn’t it? Yeah, like I’m going to get an answer.

    Bette was in her office, busying herself with answering emails and talking on the phone with some new artists she wanted to contact but hadn’t the time due to the last show.

     

    There was a knock on her door.

     

    “Come in.”

     

    “Boss, “She” is in the gallery talking to the carpenters.”

     

    “What is she doing out there?  Christ, give me a ***** break.”

     

    Bette got up, came around her desk and headed for the main gallery.  It was the Bette Porter take no prisoners stride. 

     

    “Helena, what are you doing in here?”

     

    “Just catching up with the boys, Bette.  Making sure everything is dismantled properly.  That’s all.”

     

    “What is it about “this has nothing to do with you” don’t you understand?”

     

    “A little testy this a.m., Bette?  What’s the matter, the wife not putting out for you?”

     

    Oooooooooh, I just love dangling the bait.come on, Porter, take a nibblecome on now.

     

     

    Bette’s first inclination was to smack the ***** out of Helena.  She thought back to what Tina said once again – don’t take the bait.

     

    “You just don’t get it, do you?  You better pull those Jimmy Choo heels out of your ears.  You’re fishing in the wrong pond, Helena.  And after Tina’s conversation with you.Oh, yes, she did tell me – you’d think you would give it up already.  But on second thought, if you couldn’t even tell a woman was faking it with you, why would you even possess the ability to know when it’s time to cut your losses and move on.”

      An absolute shocker.

      All this drama is leaping off the screen and making a little movie in my head. As for the cliff hanger, thank you for torturing me a little longer. These events have kept me right on the edge of my seat. The deception is only now starting to make some sense however I am fascinated as to where you will lead next.

      This mystery is captivating and mesmerizing. I am completely enthralled by your wonderful writing. The pace has just ramped up several notches and like the runaway train is only just managing to stay on the rails

      Please continue real soon as I’m not sure my heart can take the waiting to long.

    6. RC…damn what the hell is happening? I’m with Barrie…Is Susan a schizo? Is the other woman really Susan’s own reflection? Why did Tina say she was going to visit with Kit and just leave the baby instead? All questions and many more. Damn so much DRAMA..love it! Thanks for the chapter RC.

    14. Who is the woman outside The Planet? Is Susan a schizo? If Tina went to spend time with Kit, why wasn’t she there when Bette called? Why did she leave the baby with Kit? Good Lord, all ‘Hell’ has broken lose and all I have are questions! I hope your next chapter clears it all up and I also hope that the woman in the window is an ally to BnT…or Peggy!

    19. i’m on the edge of my seat, all work is forgotten…who’s another woman, is she good or bed? i know hellno can’t win but she can give a scare, i don’t want anythign happening to the girls, great suspense, can’t wait for more
