“Are you sure?” Dana asked she looked up at the blonde guiltily for distracting her during her cooking.

 “Dana its ok it’s not your fault. I will be more careful next time.”

“You better because if you got injured one more time I’m going to wrap you in a bubble wrap.” Dana said. Alice could feel the determination in Dana and felt butterflies in her stomach. She bit her lips a habit when she was feeling nervous or excited.

Dana swallowed hard at the sight. Alice’s lips were juicy and inviting. She wondered what it was like to kiss them. She was unconscious to the fact that she was moving closer to the blonde bit by bit. Alice saw that coming and to her surprise instead of stopping Dana’s advances she exhaled lightly and closed her eyes waiting for Dana to press her lips onto hers. Dana was delighted that Alice didn’t stop her. Their lips were about to meet when……………..

“Guys I’m back!” Susan announced as she walked in causing the two newly weds jumped at the sound and frantically moved away to keep a distance between them.

Susan stopped abruptly. She almost smacked herself in the forehead, Shit they finally have some alone time together and you just have to storm in like that. They are newly weds for god’s sake. Susan’s face turned into a deep shade of red as she didn’t know what to say.

“Ermm I think I better go for shower.” Susan said and immediately turned around.

“I think I better finish up the job here.” Alice said, relief that the awkwardness came to an end.

“Yeah I need to shower too.” Dana said. The two stole glances at each other before they depart.

And that night Dana had three large bowls of chicken soup for dinner!

Alice was out of her trances as she heard her secretary buzzed her through the intercom.

“Miss Pieszecki there’s a meeting for you to attend in half an hour time.”

“You see Jenny, hmm, I’m not feeling well so could you please cancel the meeting for me?”

“Of course Miss Pieszecki, do you want me to bring in any medicine for you?”

“It’s ok I just need some rest.”
