    Things you don’t want to remember…..

    Alice sat in front of the conference hall for the launching of her another new book. She was already exhausted as she had just come out from the long book signing session an hour ago. She had already answered most of the questions and couldn’t wait for the last one; she really needed to go to back and pack. She was scheduled to leave for The States early tomorrow morning for another round of book signing sessions and press conferences.

    “Ok one more question. That gentlemen over there.” The chairperson announced. Alice let out a sigh of relief.

    “Miss Pieszecki I wonder whether you plan to visit your hometown when you are in The States? But most of all we are interested to know why did you leave the place for London ten years ago?”

    The conference hall was filled with silence. For once in her life Alice was dumbfounded. It was the question she dreaded for years.

    She didn’t know how to answer. Or more precisely she didn’t really want to answer.
