Life with Mom and Tina Ch 66

“Sweetie the cloth is cold do you want me to go heat it up again?” Bette said.

“No that’s okay.” Jess mumbled. She rolled onto her side, burying her face into Bette’s stomach like she used to do when she was little.

“All right. Baby does your head still hurt?” She asked.

    “Yeah.” She mumbled.

“Can I do something to make it stop?” Bette asked.

“Can I have some more medicine?” Jess asked.

“Not for another hour.” Bette said looking at her watch.

“Can I just stay here until then?” Jess asked. She hadn’t sat this close to either Bette or Tina for months if not longer.

“Of coarse.” Bette said. She leaned over and kissed her on the cheek.

    Later.

Bette was laying in the bed watching Tina get ready for bed.

“It feels so good to have her home.” Tina said.

“I know I wish we had all her kids home all the time.” Bette added.

“Nay Nay is flying in on Monday right?” She asked walking into the bedroom.

“Yes, and your parents on Tuesday. Did you talk to Chris and Ryan? Are they going to pick them up from the airport on their way into town?” Bette asked.

“Yeah. That gives three days to get the pack and play set up in here, and Jess’s old bed set up in her room. Ryan said that Tucker was ecstatic to be “Camping out” in the living room with the boys. I figured that Hallie could sleep in Jess’s old bed and Shannon and Jess could share.” Tina said climbing in bed with Bette.

“That’s a good idea. That way Chris and Ryan can take the boys room and your parents can sleep in Shannon’s that way all adults have rooms. You are so smart.” Bette said kissing Tina and putting her arms around her.

“Thanks. I am just glad no one has to stay at a hotel. Everyone is closer when we stay under one roof.” Tina said.

    The Next Day

Bette, Tina, and Jess joined Marina, Jenny, Kit, Alice, Shane, and Dana at their usual table.

“Hey there guys what did the doctor say?” Kit asked. Jess flopped down in the chair between Alice and Dana.

    1. the way you write show us a happy and lovely family i like it so much, i hope Jess get better! and Tina has sometime to share with the boys! excellente post take care

    2. Jess’s headaches are a little scary. Something is not right here. Hopefully, the doctors are able to pinpoint what is causing them and they are able to bring relief to her. For once the entire family seems to be on the same page. Great chapter.

    3. That’s exactly how a home should be at the end of the day, especially when you’ve spend most of the time with the kids, cleaning and straightening up can always be done. Please let Jess be okay.

    4. i’ve never commented before but i really love your story… i also like jess and i hope that you take care of her… i can see a tumour somewhere in your future for her but it can be fixed… so i’m not too worried… (fingers crossed)

    5. Hey Charmed, What a beautiful family portrait you paint. After all of the hurt and anxiety love has flourished and family ties have been strenghten, Thanks to Jess and her resolve to set things straight. Why do I keep hearing DA DUM DA DUM music (a la Jaws) whenever Jess’s headaches are mentioned. Maybe she is just an angel sent there to make things right for the rest of the family? Maybe there are nothing more than a symptom of her head injury and a reminder of how precious life and love are? I will be here waiting for the next installment of your marvellous melodrama. Please continue soon. Your Loyal Fan.
