So here they were, a bride-to-be and her maid of honor, soaking up the sun atop the Hummer’s hood, enjoying the view and snacking on ice cream cones. The two still couldn’t reconcile the idea of anyone getting lap dances in the Grand Canyon of all places, but they both knew that it was pointless to question things this deep into their trip. Besides, being here was pleasant enough. It was, in a way, relaxing despite the seemingly unending horde of tourists fawning over the pretty view. It also helped that they weren’t bothered that much by people who recognized them – and quite astonishingly, not many people did. Maybe it was the lack of their usual entourage – the bodyguards, assistants, lackeys and whatnot – that made them a little inconspicuous to the throngs of tourists milling about. Whatever it was though, Bette was thankful for the privacy. Ever since she got engaged, the public’s interest in her life seemed to have increased tenfold. This brief reprieve was much appreciated.
“Penny for your thoughts?” Sam nudged her bestfriend out of her reverie.
“Penny?” Bette made a disgruntled sound in her throat, feigning offense. “My thoughts aren’t cheap.”
Sam laughed. “What, they’re priceless?”
“You said it, not me.”
“Always so humble, aren’t you?”
“Just saying it like it is.”
A gust of wind hits them from the west, sending their wavy locks of hair all over their faces. Bette grimaced and turned her head in the opposite direction. Her glasses might’ve protected her eyes from the tiny bits of sand the wind carried, but her face itched at the mere thought of those gritty particles hitting and settling on her skin. Wedding and pimples do not make a great match – especially if you were one of the brides and you were expected to look nothing less than perfect on the big day.
When the wind died down, she rearranged her thick brown hair back into place and discovered that a surprising development had happened when she was distracted. A significant chunk of her ice cream had disappeared into thin air. She arched an eyebrow at the silent one beside her.
“Yours taste better than mine.” Sam shrugged.

Your last update was so long ago.I have read JTG from start to finish after it was recommended to me.It has been a most enjoyable read.One of the best FF i have read.I really hope you can find it in you to finish it off.I just can’t imagine what you will have happen on their actual Wedding Day laughs a plenty i would imagine so please post very soon.x

I’ve been waiting for this update like forever! it is the best Thanksgiving gift ever, so thank u ;DEvery time I read ur stories my kids thinks that I’m crazy because I laugh by myself and they wouldn’t guess why, LOL. the male strippers part was hilarious ;D

I hadn’t read this story since the first time it came out and I just have to say that re-reading it from begining to finish was just as enjoyable as I remember! This story is by far one of my favourite stories on this site and in existence.
Although I was a little sad to see that Part 3 of the wedding road trip never made an update. I would love to see this story continued one day. Thank you for your wonderful writing!
