“Your coffee can’t be that complicated, can it?” Bette exhaled, shooting the blonde a weary glance.
“A grande half-skimmed milk, half-one percent, super extra hot latte with two shots of decaf and three shots of regular, a smidge of whip with a light glaze of almond, raspberry and toffee nut syrup.”
Bette didn’t know what impressed her more, the fact that Alice managed to get all that out in one breath – or that there were actually people in this world who took pride in complicating something as simple as a cup of coffee. When Alice was done proving her point, she was rewarded with an exaggerated sigh from a long-suffering Shane and a look of incredulity from Bette. “What the fucking hell was that?” Their outspoken leader made a face.
“Coffee.” The blonde stated, plain and simple.
“It sounded more like a cocktail recipe – minus the alcohol.”
“It tastes good. I like it.” Alice smiled indulgently. She turned to Shane. “Did you get all that?”
“I did.”
Alice still wasn’t convinced at the least. “Don’t believe you. Here’s a pen, write on your hand..”
“I got it, Al.” Shane stressed impatiently.
“Gimme your hand, I’ll scribble it there.”
“No.”
“Gimme..”
“No means no Alice!”
“Don’t make a fuss or I might jab you with the pen..”
“I said stop it!” Annoyed, Shane slapped Alice’s persistent hand away.
“I have to write it down, my order is quite specific and I just want to make sure you get it ri–”
The murderous look Shane shot the blonde didn’t turn her into ash, but at least it made her stop and shut up. “A grande half-skimmed milk, half-one percent, super extra hot latte with two shots of decaf and three shots of regular, a smidge of whip with a light glaze of almond, raspberry and toffee nut syrup.” She fired off in one deep breath, her expression half-annoyed and half-exasperated with a just shot of quiet resignation. “..and of course, a dash of my saliva mixed in for added flavor.”
Alice, though impressed with Shane’s memory, offered her friend the finger – the most dignified response she could offer besides a snarl. “Spit in my drink and I will poop in yours!”

Your last update was so long ago.I have read JTG from start to finish after it was recommended to me.It has been a most enjoyable read.One of the best FF i have read.I really hope you can find it in you to finish it off.I just can’t imagine what you will have happen on their actual Wedding Day laughs a plenty i would imagine so please post very soon.x

I’ve been waiting for this update like forever! it is the best Thanksgiving gift ever, so thank u ;DEvery time I read ur stories my kids thinks that I’m crazy because I laugh by myself and they wouldn’t guess why, LOL. the male strippers part was hilarious ;D

I hadn’t read this story since the first time it came out and I just have to say that re-reading it from begining to finish was just as enjoyable as I remember! This story is by far one of my favourite stories on this site and in existence.
Although I was a little sad to see that Part 3 of the wedding road trip never made an update. I would love to see this story continued one day. Thank you for your wonderful writing!
