“Hardcore, Alice. But can we please elevate the level of conversation in here? Jesus!” Bette grumbled before clambering out of the car. Enough of this nonsense, she needed to pee.
“Hey, wait for me!” Alice called out. Before running after Bette, she wagged a finger at Shane’s face. “You spit, I poop. Got that?”
“You’re demented, I’m disgusted. Got it.”
“As long as we’re clear.”
“Get out of the car Alice.”
“You’ve been warned, zit neck.”
Shane exhaled long and deep and shook her head at Alice’s retreating form, consciously feeling the huge pimple on her neck with her fingers.
“She only warned you against spitting..”
Startled, she whipped her head to the back and stared at the yawning girl behind her. When the heck did she wake up?
Still stuck in the haze between sleep and consciousness, a groggy Sam smiled cheekily, her eyelids heavy with sleep. “..she didn’t say anything about putting boogers.. or pubes..”
“Nasty.” Shane laughed, shaking her head. “And people think you’re the tame one.”
Sam smiled like a cherub and drifted back to sleep. “Just sayin’..”

Skywalk, Grand Canyon.
After deciding with a majority vote, the foursome proceeded to their lodge to check-in, deposit their stuff, jump into the bath for a quick shower (Alice, of course) before heading out to explore. The canyon was nothing they haven’t seen before, but it was a sight that gave them pause no matter how many times they’ve seen it in the past. Unlike the previous day however, they agreed on their itinerary first, learning from experience not to blindly trust Alice with their sight-seeing plans. They had fun in Wal-Mart, yes, but they weren’t really in the mood for any experimental fun after the morning they’ve had.
Their first stop was the amazingly overcrowded Skywalk – the famous attraction where one can view the Canyon through the edge of a glass bridge. Alice, and much to everyone’s surprise, Shane, were all over it. The duo practically cleared out the place (well, technically, they really did since they had it roped off for an hour) so they could shout inane things at the canyon and hear their voices echoing and also to take boatload of pictures of the two of them in poses that would embarrass their families for generations to come. Bette and Sam, however, decided to opt out of the impromptu photoshoot and kill time in the parking lot instead. It’s not that they didn’t want to join in the fun, they were by no means a pair of killjoys – but really, it would entail copious amounts of alcohol and drugs to get an acrophobic person like Sam Makavejev to forget her fear of heights and take a stroll in a bridge made out of glass. And not one to leave a friend behind – and her bestfriend at that – Bette chose to keep Sam company.

Your last update was so long ago.I have read JTG from start to finish after it was recommended to me.It has been a most enjoyable read.One of the best FF i have read.I really hope you can find it in you to finish it off.I just can’t imagine what you will have happen on their actual Wedding Day laughs a plenty i would imagine so please post very soon.x

I’ve been waiting for this update like forever! it is the best Thanksgiving gift ever, so thank u ;DEvery time I read ur stories my kids thinks that I’m crazy because I laugh by myself and they wouldn’t guess why, LOL. the male strippers part was hilarious ;D

I hadn’t read this story since the first time it came out and I just have to say that re-reading it from begining to finish was just as enjoyable as I remember! This story is by far one of my favourite stories on this site and in existence.
Although I was a little sad to see that Part 3 of the wedding road trip never made an update. I would love to see this story continued one day. Thank you for your wonderful writing!
