“Would that be a lie?”
“It’s partly true.”
“Partly?”
“Mostly.”
“Fair enough.”
Tina laughed, and in a soft voice, offered her fiancee what she wanted to hear. “Okay.. I miss you a lot.”
“Much better.” Bette grinned. “Me too, by the way.”
“Really?”
“Of course.”
“Say it then.”
“Hm?”
“Say it.”
“I just did.”
“Say it out loud.” Tina dared, a hint of mischief in her voice.
Bette forced a chuckle, all of a sudden overcome with an alien sense of embarrassment. She had no qualms about expressing her love over the phone, but she could never get quite used to doing it in front of an audience. And especially one that was comprised of her childhood friends. They were merciless when they were in a teasing mood. And they were always – always – in one.
“I’m waitiiiinnnng..” Her playful fiancee sang out, taunting.
On the sly, she glanced at the girl sitting beside her on the left. Sam was gazing out the window, looking mighty bored and sleepy. Ever so discretely, she shifted her gaze to the driver’s seat in front. Shane was focused on the road, her eyes glued to the endless stretch of highway before them. Good, two out of three now. Only one left. She looked right in front of her, at the passenger seat. Her brown eyes almost bugged out in fright. Alice, ever the nosy ass, was facing her point blank, having removed her seatbelt and shifted in her seat to listen in on her conversation with Tina.
“She’s making you say something embarrassing, isn’t she?” Her eavesdropping friend deduced, spot on as always.
Blushing all the way down to her neck, Bette shook her head vehemently, trying to appear annoyed at the intrusion. “She’s not.” She coughed out, not convincingly.
“You’re acting shifty..” Alice pointed out the obvious. “TK!” She shouted at the phone in Bette’s hand. “Are you making her say ‘I-love-you’ or something? Her face is as red as the humongous zit on Shaney’s neck!”
“What zit?!” The once cool and collected Shane panicked, feeling her neck with a hand. This abrupt action caused her to accidentally swerve the car into the wrong lane, which of course, resulted to her friends all shrieking like banshees. She might be good at hiding it, but she was as vain as the rest of her friends (sometimes to a higher degree).

Your last update was so long ago.I have read JTG from start to finish after it was recommended to me.It has been a most enjoyable read.One of the best FF i have read.I really hope you can find it in you to finish it off.I just can’t imagine what you will have happen on their actual Wedding Day laughs a plenty i would imagine so please post very soon.x

I’ve been waiting for this update like forever! it is the best Thanksgiving gift ever, so thank u ;DEvery time I read ur stories my kids thinks that I’m crazy because I laugh by myself and they wouldn’t guess why, LOL. the male strippers part was hilarious ;D

I hadn’t read this story since the first time it came out and I just have to say that re-reading it from begining to finish was just as enjoyable as I remember! This story is by far one of my favourite stories on this site and in existence.
Although I was a little sad to see that Part 3 of the wedding road trip never made an update. I would love to see this story continued one day. Thank you for your wonderful writing!
