    Tina and Bette: The beginning of the end, before the beginning. (Okay this is my first try, so don’t stone me :) )

    “Well I sorry for leaving you by your lonesome. Would you like to meet Bette the gallery owner? I need to speak with her about customizing a piece for my office. The love that Catherine Opie piece, it’s just a bit smaller than meets my need.” As he says as he points the piece out to Tina.

    “Sure why not.” Tina said and she was looking forward to meeting this woman that Eric spoke about with should high regard.

     

    Earlier in the week

    Eric spoke about Bette over a quick lunch, Tina thought it was to hype her up to get her to attend the opening with him. He knew that she would back out if anything came up at work. He wanted to make her “want to” go. He told her that Bette Porter was absolutely the top of her field in the Los Angeles art world. That she put on the most fantastic shows. And that anybody who was anybody would be there. Tina could use a few new contact being new to LA and given the business that she was in. Eric said more than he should have as he went on and on about how beautiful Bette was. So much so that Tina found herself to feel slightly jealous.

    ‘Why and the hell I’m I jealous, when I really don’t even want to be with you.’ she thinks and looks emotionless as Eric went on to say. “Too bad she’s die hard lesbian. You would stand a better chance than I would.” waiting for a response from Tina. “Maybe you could interest her in a threesome.”, he raises his eyebrows and tries to pass it off as a joke but Tina knows that he is half way serious. He had mentioned the idea to her about of a threesome before. That wasn’t Tina’s thing.

    “You have got to be kidding me”, she says “Eric, you know I don’t like to share”.

    She thinks, ‘I’ll give your ass away but I’m not sharing.’

    “Well maybe I could just……watch”. He grins

    She playfully punches him the arm trying to lighten the mood because she really wants to go off on him for suggesting it again.  This wasn’t he first time that he suggested the idea of a threesome.  She just shakes her head.

    6. Ahh, well I was looking forward to this post and was MORE than happy to have read it!!! Kim, you have done a fine job building this storyline and bringing it to…er…QUITE a climax! Hee Hee. I’d VERY much like to read more of your creativity. Thanks once more for sharing your talent with all of us readers. ;- )

    9. Well I am still learning how to use this darn editor them use to post stories. It’s a bit confusing so some of you probably read an imcomplete story. When I “saved” it I thought it “just saved it” but it posted the next chapter I was starting to write when I went to save it. I don’t want to put anything out there unfinished, so I deleted it. I’ll try cutting and pasting again. I had lot of trouble with that earlier. That’s why you got two chapters in one. These darn computers, don’t you just love them?

    12. Well Journey, if this was your first attempt, you did one hell of a job. Your writing is good and your take on the beginning of their relationaship is interesting. I’ll enjoy seeing where you’ll take us on that 7 year journey.

    16. Okay, I got the kinks out of trying to post in the future. I had a mch easier time posting hte 3rd chapter. But sometimes I might put a little “kinky” in the story lines. I have a few ideas running through my head for Bette’s dream. I’m looking forward to writing it.

    19. Wow, ten years ago. I surprised myself writing these stories. Sure takes a lot of time. One day I may be inspired again and have time at the same time. :) So far the new series Generation Q hasn’t inspired me to fill in the gaps or come up with alternative storylines. One day.
