    Tina and Bette: The beginning of the end, before the beginning. (Okay this is my first try, so don’t stone me :) )

    Tina tries to mingle a bit to get a little networking in. But she is finding it hard to concentrate with what is going on inside of her head this evening. She exchanged business cards with several people that she felt she could do business with in the future. She felt good about being there but also somewhat confused and conflicted. She’s here with Eric what was she doing thinking about Bette all evening?

    Tina had an early morning meeting Saturday so Eric just dropped her off at her apartment and didn’t ask to stay the night.

    “Tina, thanks for going with me tonight. So…. I hope you enjoyed yourself. I know that this form of art isn’t your favorite. But is made me feel so proud to have my favorite piece of art work on my arm tonight’. Eric says and he leans in to give Tina a kiss good night.

    "Thank you that was sweet of you and I did enjoy myself. I made a few good contacts. And I did enjoy the art work. But like you said it isn’t my favorite form of art but I did enjoyed it immensely tonight .” she said thinking of Bette. ‘Now that’s an art form I would love to study’ she thinks.

    “Well good. Because Bette invited me to attend one of her upcoming artist dinners. She said to be sure to bring my girlfriend along. Well that’s if you want to attend I know with your job how things are always so up in the air”.

    “Yes, that is true”. Tina said but knew that she would cancel anything in order to see one Ms Bette Porter again. “Well let me know when and I’ll see what I can do. I’ve got to be up so early so I better get in there and get myself to bed. Talk to you sometime this week?” as she kisses him again.

    “Yes, sometime this week. I‘ll call you with the details on the artist dinner”. Eric says as Tina gets out of the car. He rows down window. And says, “Honey I miss you already”. She just waves back at him and smiles. He watches for her to safely enter her apartment then drives off.

    6. Ahh, well I was looking forward to this post and was MORE than happy to have read it!!! Kim, you have done a fine job building this storyline and bringing it to…er…QUITE a climax! Hee Hee. I’d VERY much like to read more of your creativity. Thanks once more for sharing your talent with all of us readers. ;- )

    9. Well I am still learning how to use this darn editor them use to post stories. It’s a bit confusing so some of you probably read an imcomplete story. When I “saved” it I thought it “just saved it” but it posted the next chapter I was starting to write when I went to save it. I don’t want to put anything out there unfinished, so I deleted it. I’ll try cutting and pasting again. I had lot of trouble with that earlier. That’s why you got two chapters in one. These darn computers, don’t you just love them?

    12. Well Journey, if this was your first attempt, you did one hell of a job. Your writing is good and your take on the beginning of their relationaship is interesting. I’ll enjoy seeing where you’ll take us on that 7 year journey.

    16. Okay, I got the kinks out of trying to post in the future. I had a mch easier time posting hte 3rd chapter. But sometimes I might put a little “kinky” in the story lines. I have a few ideas running through my head for Bette’s dream. I’m looking forward to writing it.

    19. Wow, ten years ago. I surprised myself writing these stories. Sure takes a lot of time. One day I may be inspired again and have time at the same time. :) So far the new series Generation Q hasn’t inspired me to fill in the gaps or come up with alternative storylines. One day.
