In the Begining- Form As In a Work Of Art chapters 1 and 2

The two had got into it over Alice’s continual ramblings.

Bette sitting at her desk at home at her computer and Alice on the other side of the desk sitting.

“Danm Porter, if you don’t get you head out your ass I’ll pull it out for you”. Alice fumes as she stands up.

“Excuse me if I don’t share the same need to express every little damn thing that comes into my mind as you do. Alice I’m busy can’t you see that?”, as she searches her laptop computer for some needed information.

“Shit Bette, you’re always too busy!, Alice sadly expresses.

Bette looks up at Alice “Well at this moment I am. So why don’t you go find yourself something to do and get busy yourself.” Bette coldly states as she finally looks up at Alice.

For the last thirty minutes Alice had been going on and on and on gossiping about the women of WeHo. All Bette wanted was for Alice to just shut up. But she didn’t want to say it. But than again she really did want to say it. She just didn’t want to hurt Alice’s feelings. She saw Alice as a great friend, but she could only handle Alice in doses. And it seems that today she was overdosing on one Ms Pieszecki.

Alice’s facial expression said it all. Bette’s did the same.

“Well I know when I’m not wanted” Alice says.

‘Well it took you long enough’ Bette says to herself.
“Alice you know that I have to get this done before Thursday. I don’t have time for all this right now.” Bette says looking back to her computer.

“Fine!” Alice says as she grabs her purse that was sitting next to the chair that she was sitting in.

“Yeah….. fine.” Bette says and Alice heads for the door

Alice gets to the front door turns to Bette and says “You know what Porter one day you’re going to regret this.” and with that opens the door and leaves.

“Alice, I already do”. Bette says to herself “I already do”.

Two minutes later Bette gets a text message from Alice
    See you Friday.

“Oh my god, what have I gotten myself into with her” Bette asks herself

    1. Ahh, well I was looking forward to this post and was MORE than happy to have read it!!! Kim, you have done a fine job building this storyline and bringing it to…er…QUITE a climax! Hee Hee. I’d VERY much like to read more of your creativity. Thanks once more for sharing your talent with all of us readers. ;- )

    2. Well I am still learning how to use this darn editor them use to post stories. It’s a bit confusing so some of you probably read an imcomplete story. When I “saved” it I thought it “just saved it” but it posted the next chapter I was starting to write when I went to save it. I don’t want to put anything out there unfinished, so I deleted it. I’ll try cutting and pasting again. I had lot of trouble with that earlier. That’s why you got two chapters in one. These darn computers, don’t you just love them?

    3. Well Journey, if this was your first attempt, you did one hell of a job. Your writing is good and your take on the beginning of their relationaship is interesting. I’ll enjoy seeing where you’ll take us on that 7 year journey.

    4. Okay, I got the kinks out of trying to post in the future. I had a mch easier time posting hte 3rd chapter. But sometimes I might put a little “kinky” in the story lines. I have a few ideas running through my head for Bette’s dream. I’m looking forward to writing it.

    5. Wow, ten years ago. I surprised myself writing these stories. Sure takes a lot of time. One day I may be inspired again and have time at the same time. :) So far the new series Generation Q hasn’t inspired me to fill in the gaps or come up with alternative storylines. One day.
