    Tina and Bette: The beginning of the end, before the beginning. (Okay this is my first try, so don’t stone me :) )

    Bette waits a few minutes to keep Alice waiting on purpose and then Bette slowly texts back,
    Sure Alice, Friday.

    ‘Well the sex isn’t too bad if she could just shut up sometimes. We’ll have to talk once the opening is done with. I really don’t think that this thing between me and Alice is going to work. She is expecting from me more than I am willing to give her and the moment’ Bette shakes off her thought and focuses back on her work at the computer.

    She knew that Alice would contact her or come by the gallery some time that week. And sure enough at least once a day Alice would show up in her life in some way. Either it was a phone call or her famous unannounced visits that she was known for. Previously Bette had enjoyed a few of those unannounced visits as they would end up with them fucking each other in Bette’s office. Nothing like a little afternoon stress release to help you get through the day. But this was not what she needed at the moment, she needed to stay focused on her work and a more than friends relationship with Alice wasn’t allowing her to do that.

     

    Friday evening

    ‘A committed relationship I can do without’ Bette thought, well at least that it what she thought up until laying eyes upon one special blond.

    Bette walked and conversed with the attendees of her opening, she is quite comfortable with being the center of attention but for the last fifteen minutes or so Bette’s eyes followed this one most expressive beautiful blond, who was taking in all the beautiful artwork being displayed, Bette’s eyes follow her around the exhibit area, ‘God she’s gorgeous’. she thinks. She was drawn, ’I have got to say hello, Oh shit she must be with Eric’ as Eric walks up behind the blond hands her a glass of wine and then places his hand at the small of her back. ‘I wonder if that’s his girlfriend and if they are exclusive.’ she smiles to herself.

    “Miss me?” Eric says to Tina as he hands her the glass of wine.

    “Actually no. I was looking at all this wonderful pieces keep myself busy while you were talking to David”. Tina says with a smile.

    6. Ahh, well I was looking forward to this post and was MORE than happy to have read it!!! Kim, you have done a fine job building this storyline and bringing it to…er…QUITE a climax! Hee Hee. I’d VERY much like to read more of your creativity. Thanks once more for sharing your talent with all of us readers. ;- )

    9. Well I am still learning how to use this darn editor them use to post stories. It’s a bit confusing so some of you probably read an imcomplete story. When I “saved” it I thought it “just saved it” but it posted the next chapter I was starting to write when I went to save it. I don’t want to put anything out there unfinished, so I deleted it. I’ll try cutting and pasting again. I had lot of trouble with that earlier. That’s why you got two chapters in one. These darn computers, don’t you just love them?

    12. Well Journey, if this was your first attempt, you did one hell of a job. Your writing is good and your take on the beginning of their relationaship is interesting. I’ll enjoy seeing where you’ll take us on that 7 year journey.

    16. Okay, I got the kinks out of trying to post in the future. I had a mch easier time posting hte 3rd chapter. But sometimes I might put a little “kinky” in the story lines. I have a few ideas running through my head for Bette’s dream. I’m looking forward to writing it.

    19. Wow, ten years ago. I surprised myself writing these stories. Sure takes a lot of time. One day I may be inspired again and have time at the same time. :) So far the new series Generation Q hasn’t inspired me to fill in the gaps or come up with alternative storylines. One day.
