Fa La La La La La La La La
“Gotta go.” James moved quickly towards Bette, swinging his backpack around to his front.
When he reached his boss, he and the others stood silently while Bette had a tense conversation with Kit in some form of sisterly shorthand.
“Yes.”
“Bette.”
“No.”
“You don’t.”
“Yes I do.”
“You’re just.”
“How is it wrong?”
Kit sighed and held out her hand to James, who gave her her hand cymbals. He quickly distributed the other percussive instruments. The five waited for the boy to finish and for the signal from Bette.
It came soon, and they exploded into song.

“Riu, riu chiu, la guarda ribera,
Dios guardo el lobo de nuestra cordera.
El lobo rabioso la quiso morder,
mas Dios poderoso la supo defender;
Cristo patriarca de carne vestido;
y viene a reparar de todos la caida;
es la luz del dia aqueste mocuelo;
todos juntos vamos presentes llevemos;
Whoops and cheers came from Tasha and her friends, joined soon by Tina, Matt and Sonny. Angelica’s “Yay” rang through. Other carolers applauded.
The sixlaughed and hugged each other. Bette slipped away to join her family.

That was just as amazing and beautiful like your other stories. I have so missed your talented writing on this site. Can this be a possible return to the forum. I have so missed the “the wolve” story- “Backstory”. I was hoping that this was a version of that, but I am just as happy with the one I got.
