Fa La La La La La La La La
“Got it right here,” Kit waved it in the air.
“Matt’s got his violin and will play a bit of any unfamiliar songs to help people out.”
“If my fingers don’t freeze, Bette.”
“That’s right. If Matt’s fingers don’t freeze. Now, we have a few totes with sleigh bells that are to be given to age-appropriate children So, people who feel comfortable making that determination, grab a tote. Not you Alice.”
“Hey!”
“I’ll take one for us,” Tasha appeased the blonde.
“Do I get sleight bells, Mama B?”
“Yes you do, Angie. You get two sets!”
“Wait, I want to say something.”
“Shut up Bette and let Tina talk.”
“Alice,” several people hissed.
“I’m sure you’ve all heard that this started because I went caroling when I was a kid. Well, back then, before we left the house, my mother always made sure that we sang a song she loved. And, uh, I know that this isn’t quite the group for it, but. Well, I just realized that I’d like to do that now.”
“Sure, baby girl. What are we gonna song?”
“I don’t know if everyone knows it.”
“Don’t worry, Tina,” Helena soothed. “We’ll sing with you if we know it, or catch on quick.”
“OK, then.” Tina stood still and looked at various faces in the group. She smiled at Angelica and then at Bette, who was about to swoop the little girl into her arms. She took a deep breath:

“I wonder as I wander out under the sky
How Jesus the Saviour did come for to die
For poor on’ry people like you and like I;
I wonder as I wander out under the sky
When Mary birthed Jesus ’twas in a cow’s stall
With wise men and farmers and shepherds and all
But high from God’s heaven, a star’s light did fall
And the promise of ages it then did recall.
If Jesus had wanted for any wee thing
A star in the sky or a bird on the wing
Or all of God’s Angels in heaven to sing
He surely could have it, ’cause he was the King
I wonder as I wander out under the sky
How Jesus the Saviour did come for to die
For poor on’ry people like you and like I;
I wonder as I wander out under the sky”

That was just as amazing and beautiful like your other stories. I have so missed your talented writing on this site. Can this be a possible return to the forum. I have so missed the “the wolve” story- “Backstory”. I was hoping that this was a version of that, but I am just as happy with the one I got.
