“Yes, Helena.”
“There’s one over there!” Alice pointed a young woman with short-cropped blond hair in a very short, very tight skirt.
“Um,” Bette looked thoughtfully towards the suspect. “No, the thief’s hair and skirt were longer, and the skirt it, um, flowed a bit.”
“Bette, I don’t see anyone that looks like that,” Shane suggested as she grinned at Alice.
“Well, there is Alice,” Helena suggested, earning a death glare from her former roommate.
“Could it have been Alice? Let’s see if the other clues fit,” Bette suggested, her gaze fixed on her friend. “The car was small, dark blue. A Mini Cooper. So the thief is a blonde with mid-length hair, wearing a skirt that flows, drives a dark blue Mini Cooper, who is in The Planet right now, AND IS A CRAZY LUNATIC!”
“I didn’t know it was you.”
“What does it being me have anything to do…”
“You get really mad when anyone keeps you waiting and you know how scary you are when you’re mad.” Alice turned to Shane and Helena, “Am I right or am I right?”
“You’re on your own here,” Shane shook her head.
“I have to agree with Shane on this one, Alice.”
Alice scowled, “Fine friends you are. Just wait.”
“I don’t think either of us are ever likely to steal a parking spot from Bette,“ Helena observed.
“Anything to say, Alice?”
“Allright. Jeesh. I’m sorry, OK, but it was all for Tina, right? We’re all here to help out Tina. Just like you asked.”
Bette glared at the blonde.
“I don’t know why you’re making such a big deal over it, Bette.”
Kit had joined the table in time to hear Alice’s reply. “What is my baby sis making such a big deal over?”
Alice, hoping for an ally, pleaded her case, “I was rushing, see, coz I didn’t want to be late, coz this meeting was important to Bette, so I grabbed the first parking space I saw, right out front, and remember I didn’t want to be late and, well, I didn’t see that Bette had been waiting for the spot, I mean, I saw that someone was waiting for the spot, but I didn’t know it was Bette, so I took it.”

That was just as amazing and beautiful like your other stories. I have so missed your talented writing on this site. Can this be a possible return to the forum. I have so missed the “the wolve” story- “Backstory”. I was hoping that this was a version of that, but I am just as happy with the one I got.
