Bette walks back intot he room… just as Dr Wilson was leaving…
Bette: Ok tee… why did I have to leave the room…
Tina: I have this feeling both the doctor and nurse have this secret code… she just wanted to tell me that I am clear to have sex… but the final decision is mine… so I guess there are a lot of wives out there who just say doctors orders… NO SEX…
Bette: So are you going to tell me NO SEX…
Tina: Not on your life… I am counting the hours… so let me get dressed and you can buy me lunch at “The Planet” and then we can go home and plan the evening…
Bette: That can be arranged… get dressed…

At “The Planet”
Alice: Well look you just walked in…
Dana: OMG… Tessa you just come and sit next to you Auntie Dana… (Taking her from Bette)… I can’t wait to teach you how to play Tennis…
Alice: You know Dana, not every kid is into sports… she may want to write…
Shane: But all girls are into their hair and that’s where Auntie Shane will be the favorite…
Kit: Dream on… she is her Auntie Kit’s girl… this one is going to sing and play the piano… just look at her hands…
The girls just snicker to them selves…
Kit: Get your minds out of the gutter… come with me little one…
Alice: Well this time its not me who said it…
Tina: That poor kid… maybe we can let her make up her own mind… or maybe she will want to do every thing with each of you…
Bette: Tina’s right… besides she is going to be an artist… I think sculpting…
Tina: Looks like I will have my hands full with all of you… babe I’m hungry… are you ready to order…
The waitress comes over and they order…
They all sat around talking and laughing and passing the baby… and she loved it… never made a sound until she was hungry…
Kit: Tina if you want to use my office…
Tina: (Looking around the place was empty)… if no one objects I can feed her right here…

Hey Amanda, Great to have you back and posting more of your unique and brilliant view of Bette and Tina and now Tessa. Loved the real life drama added to this tale. No parent is perfect and it is only by experience do you learn the best way to care for your child. Tina’s panic was perfectly played out here.
